Paid $23.99 I ordered this digital kitchen food scale on Nov 6th, 2023 and it was delivered 4 days later on 11/4/23 even though check out provided a 2 day delivery. The previous digital scale I had, I purchased at a BB&B retail store and it lasted over 10 years. It did what I needed it to do but my biggest pet peeve was its weight capacity which was limited to 22 lbs. It made it difficult to measure large volume of ingredients and weigh them all using one bowl because it would always error out. I rely heavily on my digital scale and use it every day multiple times a day. I have an elderly parent who I care for so it makes it easier to prepare his daily meals when I can measure out single serving portions ahead of time and store them in 8oz deli containers for easy access and quick preparation. I also make large batches of meatloaves and meatballs where equal size is important for baking. I then Saran Wrap them individually and use a large Ziploc freezer bag to freeze them. So this Zibet Digital Food Scale has checked most of my boxes and so far, I am very happy with my new digital scale. The simple, compact and flat design can be left on your counter or stored easily in a drawer. It has a 1g/0.1oz graduation and offers 5 measurement you can cycle through to select either g/kg/lb/oz/fl.oz and ml, and I truly use them all. It has a stainless steel base with a tempered glass surface top which has been easy to clean. It claims to be waterproof but I would never recommend putting any digital scale under running water regardless of what the seller claims because you don’t know how good that waterproof seal really is. I Just wipe it down with a kitchen sponge and dry it off with a paper towel. I found that if you don’t dry it off and let it air dry, it leaves behind a smoky film on the tempered surface which is very apparent on the digital display. It was also important that it is USB charging and its primary source of power and battery as its back-up. I also wanted it to use a standard AA or AAA because 3V Lithium coin batteries are expensive and sometimes difficult to find. The USB charging will allow helps to save on the cost for batteries and so far, after one initial USB charge, I haven’t had to recharge it yet and it’s been more than one month using it every day several times a day. The digital display was placed in the fore front of the scale and it does not interfere with my view to read the weight even when using a large bowl or plate. I really like this scale and would recommend it to others. Great buy!

This was shipped from the Troutdale, Oregon Amazon warehouse to Bend, overnight. The packaging is very secure, with two layers of air bubble pack holding the product box securely in place. The product box had the scale laying in a closed cell foam retainer that we will use for storing the scale when it is not in use. There is a blue protective film that must be removed, revealing a blue tempered glass layer. We left the attractive tempered glass layer in place, and only removed the protective film with the !! triangle icon. Apparently, the scale comes in several colors, besides blue. I used my 100g, 50g, 10g analytical weights and found that the balance is spot-on for these larger weights. The instructions say that 2-3g of mass is required for the balance to measure the weight. For example, 1g or 2g gave zero reading, however when the 100g weight was added to the 1g, the result was 101g (1+100). Having the dual power source is a nice feature. The internal LiPO battery is said to fully charge in 2 hrs. This is a very nice product and we would purchase it again if needed.

I LOVE this scale! I was slow to catch on to my need for such a thing but as I got into baking sourdough breads this past year I was using my postal scale more and more in the kitchen- which was awkward w/the cord and difficult to keep clean. SO I TREATED MYSELF TO THIS NEW SCALE! Wah-LAHH! I LOVE IT! It's beautiful and super easy to clean. It is easy to use / with a touch of the finger it will change to ounces from grams and back. Performs the tare weight with ease and accuracy. I LOVE THIS THING! I should've gotten it long ago! It takes up almost no space and has no cord to mess with each time! LOVE IT!

This is a great scale with a few minor issues. The zero button on mine doesn’t work, so I have to put containers on it before turning it on to zero them out. Also it is not 100% accurate, it clearly has sticking points. For instance if I put on weight until 4.8oz, it will never reach 4.9-5oz and will next update at 5.1oz. Not a huge deal but something to note. Recharging is fast and easy, its a nice big scale so it has a lot of surface for items or bigger bowls.

The scale works great. It's level and appears to measure accurately! Digital display is nice and lights up well. The finish is polished and smooth. Comes with USB rechargeable lithium batteries. Nice little food scale.

I purchased this scale to help with my new cooking hobby. It makes measuring very easy, and combined with my Google Mini, I can do the math really easily. If a recipe calls for 1.5 C, I can convert it to grams using Google Mini, and I get accurate measurements. I love the Tare feature, and can zero out any plate, cup or bowl before measuring. The charge seems to last and last, I have had it for several months and have not had to recharge it. Great purchase, highly recommend, and good value for the price. Also like the liquid measure feature. Who knew liquid weight is different than dry weight, and same for solids like sugar and flour. A cup is NOT always a cup..... Try this scale.

This scale is absolutely wonderful! Easy to read and the different measurements (lb, oz, grams, ml ect) are so easy to switch with just a touch of the button. the back lighting is great and this scale is light weight and fits easily in the drawer. I wish i found this sooner as I've been through many. I especially like the tare function that lets you put an item on the scale (for example a bowl) zero it out and then just weigh the food in the bowl. Simple. I would highly recommend this scale!

I have used this scale for a few months now, and I recommend it to anyone I know who is looking for a food scale. Most kitchen scales have the 0/tare feature and the option to cycle thru different units such as grams or pounds. This scale can do those standard things. But this scale also has details that others lack. 1. Higher capacity. This scale can handle up to 33 pounds, while most kitchen scales max at 11 pounds. For anyone who is tracking the calories and nutritional content of their recipes this is an important detail. I can weigh my finished dish, even when using my heaviest pot or glass casserole dish, and then subtract the known weight of the dish. That makes it easy to get accurate nutritional values for my food without having to transfer to smaller, lighter containers. 2. USB charge ability. The scale can run on AAA batteries, but how often do we have batteries when the low battery alert comes on? With this scale, no need to keep batteries in the kitchen junk drawer. Just plug it - it will charge, and you can continue using the scale while it is charging.
