Easy to use just plug and go I'm on the opposite side of my home with 3 walls and I'm getting 80% connection perfectly fast I previously had a small wifi dongle with no antennas and barely got 10% signal this works wonders definitely reccomend

Was great, while it worked... ** UPDATE **
Bought this to replace a much slower wifi adapter that kept dropping it's connection and needed reconnecting at least a couple of days. The old adapter also had an average max of 3mbs download speed Not great when my router is 150mbs on average. This on was well packaged and a straight plug and play onto Win 10. I was overjoyed also, to see average download speeds of around 70mbs. A great improvement over the old one.Over the first 24 hours it was 100% stable with no dropped connections at all. It seemed like a proper worthwhile investment. Then it stopped working. No reason, no warning and hasn't worked since...The only positive is that I hadn't thrown my old one away, so it's back to a slow, intermittent connection for now.** Update **Since my initial update, I eventually moved to using a direct Ethernet cable to my router to reduce wifi dropouts. A cable connection is always going to provide a more stable connection, however, I appreciate this is not always possible.Cutting a long story short, I had some spare time to try and find out why it failed after such a promising start. After some research, it turned out to be an issue with a Windows 10 update and NOT the adapter itself, which when working, is fast and reliable albeit a bit on the large size.I found it worked perfectly on an old Windows 7 laptop.I now use it for the laptop solely and purchased a USB cable extension, so it is now perched out of the way on a shelf, working without issues. As a result, I have amended my review to 4 stars, based on the following...1- Windows 10 compatibility was an issue. I haven't yet tested it against the latest Win 10 updates.2- It's not the smallest wifi adapter on the market but the useful stand allows it to be placed somewhere other than directly in front of you.3- It provides a great, stable connection.

Works.. eventually, poorly built
For some reason it defaulted to 5Ghz only. Foxed me for ages why I could see some things but not others! It may have been me fiddling though when setting it up as a hotspot rather than client. There are so many options in life these days ;-)NEW: the aerial connectors only physical attachment to circuit board is three 1mm square solder points. These broke on one side as I twiddled aearial around sometime. Had to resolder. Whereupon I hot glued a blob over whole join - which is how they should have been made in first place! I suspect all/many wifi USB dongles are like this. We shall see how many bps I get when we get new 910 Mbps fibred wifi router and I get a USB 3 card! Playtime looms! ;-)

Would not connect to windows 7
Even though I appeared to have a strong wi-fi signal, tis item would NOT connect to my wi-fi. After having another driver sent to me by the sellers, which turned out to be even worse than the first supplied driver (on disc) I had to resort to sending it back for a refund which was promptly settled.

Improved Signal, Hit and Miss Software
Did improve WiFi signal, however software wasn't straightforward and doesn't automatically connect when turning the computer on

It simply doesn’t work and no way of resolving the problem.
The instructions were worse than useless - unreadable. Difficult to install and it doesn’t actually work.No information on who to contact in the case where it doesn’t work.

Works OK but Difficult to Set Up
I tried the full set up over the weekend but every time I tried it just wouldn't provide wifi and there was no one to contact - only an email address ( they did respond on Monday). Eventually I chose the driver only option and this touch wood seems to work but I don't notice a vast improvement.
