Rinza is designed to break down milk protein and is suitable for automatic milk frothers and manual steam wands. If that is what you are cleaning on your machine, Rinza would be the right product to use. **Q: What are the ingredients in this? The Jura milk system cleaner uses potassium hydroxide and sodium carbonate only.** A: I don't know what is in the Urnex alkaline but potassium hydroxide and sodium carbonate each have a PH>7 so they are alkaline. That may be why I started using the Urnex alkaline instead of the Jura cleaner 6+ years ago. I used it my first Jura, an S9, and in my current A9. I'm completely satisficed with the Urnex alkaline **Q: Does anyone use this for a manual frothing system? Hoping to use this to minimize milk/sugar build up in the wand** A: I don't use it for that, but I can't see it hurting. I soak my parts in a solution of this product to remove buildup. **Q: Can I use this for a standalone electric frother/steamer (Gourmia) to get the milk protein off the stainless interior/frother blade?** A: Rinza cleaner is best used to clean the milk residue off of steam wands. If your machine has a steam wand, this cleaner would work. You may want to contact Gourmia to see if this product will work in your machine. https://urnex.com/media/document/12-MILK6-32.pdf ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product -- Price performer *by on Reviewed in the United States July 27, 2026* Excellent cleaner and definitely a value purchase. I've been using for several years on the automatic frother on my Jura coffeemaker. Hated the bother, mess, and expense of the official Jura product. Now I mix up a liter of cleaner at a time and just stick the suction hose into the liter jug then put the jug on the shelf for next time. Zero waste and I get 4-5 cleanings from a liter (60 cc of the concentrate). This works out to over 80 frother cleanings from a single liter bottle of the concentrate. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply the best Steam Wand and Milk Jug cleaner on the market *by on Reviewed in the United States September 7, 2026* I consider this product a must have chemical in any espresso tool arsenal alongside espresso cleaners and descalers. I love this liquid formula of the product with it’s dispensing mechanic. The beautiful blue color gives confidence that it’s doing what it should. After frothing milk,, I simply dip the steam tip into a little container of the prescribed solution. Using the built-in measuring reservoir is so easy, and the concentration ratio is great ensuring it will last awhile. As stated previously, it’s effectiveness is immediately apparent as you watch the milf dissolve off the steam tip as it’s submerged.I truly believe this is the best product Urnex manufacturers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleans milk brother jug and wand clean *by on Reviewed in the United States September 21, 2026* I use this to clean the mild jug and wand clean weekly. Works very well. No smell, make everything shine. ## Frequently Bought Together - Urnex - Rinza Alkaline Formula Milk Frother Cleaner - 33.6 Ounce - Urnex Espresso Machine Cleaning Powder - 566 grams - Cafiza Professional Espresso Machine Cleaner - Urnex Grindz Professional Coffee Grinder Cleaning Tablets - 430 Grams - All Natural Food Safe Gluten Free - Cleans Burr and Casing - Help Extend Life of Your Grinder --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/1711355-urnex-rinza-alkaline-formula-milk-frother-cleaner-33-6-ounce](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/1711355-urnex-rinza-alkaline-formula-milk-frother-cleaner-33-6-ounce) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
