Amazing battery life, great comfort, noise cancellation, and sound quality.
These are excellent. First, the battery life, it is incredible. I can use it for several days in a row non-stop, which is great because sometimes I forget/don't have a chance to plug it in at night. This is even with noise cancelling on - I can only imagine it will be much more significant without it on. It connects quickly and efficiently, removing a lot of the issue with pairing it to multiple devices. I've even found it can be simultaneously linked to two separate devices - for instance, my work phone and my personal phone, or my phone and a computer. Amazing not having to constantly switch back and forth. Occasionally, it will have a bug with facebook messenger calls, but I think that's facebook's problem, not the headphones. These are extremely comfortable on the ears and head, though they are a bit bulky and hard to use with high intensity activity, such as high impact running, jumping, dancing, etc, but if you're careful and aware then they will work just fine. The sound quality is quite good, though it lacks a deep heavy bass that one might hope for - that said, for the price these are, you will not find a better sound quality. I've found that you need to approximately double the price of headphones in order to get equal sound quality. The noise cancellation is good, I don't have much to compare it to, but I have found it very useful for blocking out minor distractions, even without any audio playing through them while the noise cancellation is active. If you're on a budget, you won't find any other purchase where the dollar to quality ratio is so amazing. Easily, these headphones could be marked over $100 and still be worth the money.

Really good sound and well built comfort for a modest price. SIX Headsets COMPARED
Comparison of 6 Headphones of similar price & features I've tested a bunch of headphones in the $40-60 range so I may come back to this review with others in mind. My objective was to find a really strong audio performance for music, so I did not evaluate Noise Cancelling (did try it but didn't test it comparatively and it seemed to work OK on all of them) or use the mike. All of these can be used with a phone and can answer calls, again not a feature tested. I tested each with a specific playlist that included variations in dynamics, bass and treble emphasis including songs with substantial changes and mixes, and different genre including pop, rock, prog rock, and acapella. I used a Macbook Pro laptop and iTunes, I experimented with different Equalizer settings to get the best sound with each headset. Soundcore Q20 – $59.99* Ultimately these are the headphones I decided to stick with.and gave them 5 stars for sound in the price category. Most comfortable, seems to be the better made, bass not as boomy as on the NC35 good fidelity. I used my equalizer to tone the bass down and liked these a lot; for those wanting to go the other way they do have a bass boost that was nice in the right places. I wanted to like them better than the Monoprice set but honestly the Monoprice is so close it's very subjective. I liked the heavier feel and better fit, the sound once I equalized it was really good. However I notice in addition that these have the best Bluetooth performance of the bunch; I can be as much as ten feet farther from my laptop and still have good sound, whereas the others would be breaking up or offering no sound. So in a close competition the slightly higher price didn't really matter and the solid feel and comfort did, the sound was the best in the group though the Monoprice and the Vankyo were very competitive. Cowin E-7 $49.99* Comfortable and interesting control setup. But I could not get them to enter the pairing mode and the instructions were very unhelpful. I tried them corded to the computer and was not impressed with the sound. Overall it was muddy at every frequency. The bass was strong but not distinct. Eventually they did enter pairing and the sound was no better. I would not buy these even if I had been able to pair them at first. UPDATE: Their customer service has reached out to me more than once to offer me a better product at no added cost and suggest that perhaps this headset was defective. Since I am settled on what i have I've declined but they do have good customer service. Srhythm NC25 headphones $38.29* The bass was overdone and overtopped the treble and mids; rendered a bit of a muddy sound. Not bad really but I would suggest you can do better for the money. See Monoprice BT-300 and Vankyo C-750. Srhythm NC35 headphones $46.49* Clear, really good sense of position for every instrument and voice, good battery. I bought these right after buying the earlier/lower line Srhythm NC25 headphones. Compared to those these feel and look about the same but sound noticeably better. Understand I like a strong bass but the NC25 boomed enough to drown out some of the other sounds especially the treble. Overall they gave a muddy sound to a lot of music. By contrast while that can happen any well-produced track has far less booming and just a good base, and the amount of L-R separation, the precision with which sound location varies on these is really quite excellent. Monoprice BT-300ANC – $39.99* I tried these as Consumer Reports rate them a best buy. Not as comfortable or as solid feeling as the Soundcore but not bad. Less effective ear seal. Very good treble response and generally pretty well balanced sound. If you want booming bass this not your choice, but if you are looking for “fidelity” and balance these are pretty good. However the battery is 300 mah and the manual says 17 hours operation, the shortest of any in the group. Tempting at the price; a good buy for the money. If you are looking for low cost headphones these are worth your consideration as the sound rises above the price. Vankyo C-750 $44.99* in silver, 25% discount mades these very attractive option! They are very comfortable and noticeably lighter than the Soundcore. BT range typical for the group. Sound is good, not superb. 40 Hr claimed charge. I would say I was torn between these and the Soundcore, they have a nice bright sound and did fine with bass. I suspect I could equalize to get close to the sound the Soundcore produced but in the end I felt the Soundcore was just a little better and the $15 lower price just isn't enough to make me switch. *Prices shown are the actual cost at Amazon including coupon discounts but excluding tax; all got free Prime shipping.

Temper your expectations
I will preface this with my honest overview: for the money, they’re great, but have a couple trade offs that seem common to budget wireless headphones like these, hence the title. With the pros, they do what is advertised, and pretty well at that. The earcups and headband are comfy and can be worn for long periods of time, the build is adequate, and it has some fun, punchy base and decent sound quality. As well, the noise cancellation is surprisingly decent and does tune out a fair amount of background noise, but all of these pros come with some small exceptions that, while they are minor and don’t destroy the v aloe of the product or anything, are worth noting. For one, the earcups are rather insulating and definitely make my ears sweat after about half an hour. Non-jokingly, i feel these would be an effective set of musical earmuffs for the winter. For another, while the build is adequate and certainly does the job, its a bit underwhelming for the price, with overly light, cheap-feeling plastics that doesn’t feel nearly as sturdy as I feel they should. However, I will note that it has withstood a couple drops onto the concrete floor of my bedroom without any cracks or seeming internal damage. The sound quality admittedly isn’t great, trebles are not very detailed and base is definitely a bit muddy in spite of its strength. And of course, the noise cancelling—I don’t actually have much to complain about this, it isn’t the noise-deleting magic of the AirPods are, that’s for sure, but it does the job. Generally, higher-pitched sounds like some mechanical whines and human voices do noticeably get through the noise cancelling, though lower sounds like engine humming and the lower tones of an air condition or tv noise do get mostly cancelled out. All in all, I think they’re great for the price, but I do advise that you, as the title suggests, temper your expectations.

love it.
These headphones have truly been a companion for me daily, whether going to school, walking outside, shopping, cleaning the house, and been used for almost four year daily almost an dstill has an an amazing bettary and works well too. it have finally started to show some wear and tear. The plastic near the right ear has come off, and the top leather is beginning to peel. I suspect this might be my fault, as I was quite diligent about cleaning them with alcohol during the pandemic. Every time I returned home from being outside, I made sure to wipe them down to eliminate any germs and viruses. While it felt necessary at the time, I might have been a bit too overzealous in my cleaning routine! Despite these cosmetic issues, I can’t say enough good things about their performance. The noise cancellation is outstanding, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my music or podcasts without being distracted by the outside world. The sound quality is impressive as well, providing rich and clear audio that enhances my listening experience. The design of these headphones is another highlight. They have a sleek and modern aesthetic that I find really appealing. I appreciate how they not only look good but also keep my ears warm during the colder winter months. The cushions are surprisingly soft, and I was pleasantly surprised by their larger size. This added size helps to distribute pressure, making them comfortable for extended wear. However, I will say that if you keep them on for too long, you might start to feel some discomfort. One of the practical features I love is how easily they can be placed around my neck when I’m not using them. This makes them incredibly convenient, especially when I need to take a quick break. Additionally, I’ve noticed that they don’t make me sweat much during the summer months, which is a big plus. They also operate quietly enough that others around me hardly notice I’m wearing them, providing a nice sense of privacy and allowing me to enjoy my music without feeling self-conscious. Overall, despite the wear and tear, these headphones have proven to be a fantastic investment. They deliver excellent sound quality, comfort, and practical features that enhance my daily routine. I look forward to using them for many more days to come!

THESE ARE WONDERFUL
I have never had ANC headphones and tried to do a lot of research and thought about how much I wanted to pay for headphones for something that would work for what I needed and was also at my price point. These hit all those requirements! The noise cancelation is so good I can just hear my heartbeat and actually enforced that I have tinnitus but it was really impressive to just hear nothing as much as possible. I use these for work using the headphone jack and they work amazingly. I wear these for literal hours and they stay comfortable (unlike the beats headphones I tried which smooshed my ears and gave me a headache). The sound quality is great (I'm not a sound pro though, things just sound nice to me). When I'm not in meetings all day I use these to listen to podcasts or spotify and it's incredibly nice to not have a wire hanging anywhere and I can walk around my bedroom freely (which is my office now). The battery life is amazing. I can use these all work day long (plus a little more) and I'm still at high battery. I keep charging them out of habit (like my phone) but I really think I could use these for a solid 4 days without charging at all. I did get these on sale for about $20 off and I really wish I had bought another pair. My husband tried these on and agreed they were comfortable with the soft leather but they smooshed his ears uncomfortably after a bit. I'm wondering if it depends on your ear size (if that's a thing?). Lastly, didn't think I'd care about the carrying case but now I realize in a post-COVID world when I can leave my house, it will be totally worth it. I don't want these wonderful headphones to get damaged!!

Just Arrived & More Info to Follow
3/22/2012 - Impressed with construction and packaging. Had I been aware of the documentation, I'd still have ordered. I took time to place each product that interested me on my wishlist. Then I printed the list and did a bit of internet reviewing to choose. The multitude of other choices could then be ignored. I don't need a $350 headset to listen to the TV. . . Very happy that I chose product with the case. It is worthwhile. "How To" in package is nearly useless. For example they use convention of PRESS 3" in the images. So, exactly what do I push for 3-Inches? Only those who have studied navigation or related subjects will know that ( " ) means SECONDS. Folding directions are solely pictorials. A waste of paper. Go online and the reference is only slightly better. I was clueless about meaning of NC on switch and the arrows for sweeping U/D/to F/to Back. Had to read someone else's review to learn that NC = Noise Canceling. I expect to have relevant get-it-working details including a table of specs in the online reference. I've given five stars, because I can probably intuit the methodology. Will update this once I get things working. Hopefully it will remain very positive. 3/24 Update: On the downside, I've a large head and the band can get uncomfortable. I've a drawer of others and the experience is the same: NBD. Got it paired with no problem. I'm a disabled vet with hearing aids and must wear the headphones over them. My voice range is bad and high frequencies are 80 db down. Overall, I'm pleased with the sound quality. Unless you are an audiophile, those with normal hearing will enjoy the sound quality. For me, the quality I enjoy is worth the investment. Also, the range of the Bluetooth link was exceptional. I could walk throughout the house and only lost the signal at the most distant point; over 70+ feet. I've a small bluetooth speaker (UE Mobile Boombox) that I tried to move to our living room shelf near my chair. At only 20 feet lost signal. (More to follow.)

GOT TIRED OF LOOKING
After WAY TOO MUCH research, and returning 3 different brands, I settled on these and they'll do for now. There is no perfect headset out there so look in stores with your own eyes and check return policies. For me these are just a tool that does a job; and for that they'll do just fine. I really only wanted wireless for conference calls and long walks. These headsets work fine for that. The noise compression doesn't work like you'd expect. Basically with NC on, the audio is slightly compressed and the hi/low pass filters don't attenuate enough. IN ENGLISH...the noise compression only works a tiny bit. I could still hear cars and birds. NC really only cuts out the ambient "surrounding air" sound. These have Bass Boost which I don't care about. I bought the case (extra) and it's good quality for the money. The headset overall is "good quality for the money as well. I take care of my tools so these will likely last me a good few years; I hope. I have a very small/narrow head so these fit loose. If I go jogging they will surely slide around and probably fall off. Connecting to BT was super easy. No app, no BS. I can switch btwn my phone and my laptop within seconds without disconnect from the other device. I wish there was an audio track FWD & REV button but would of bought something else of that was important. Overall, the conference call and mobile phone calling is clear (better than my wired earphones while driving) and works over 50ft away before it starts crackling. I don't know what the distance rating is because the user manual sucks, but I can walk all over my 1200sq/ft apartment and to the mailbox outside without the BT connection dropping out. FINALLY, they are comfortable. All the Cowin models look huge, the Bose "over hear" Soundlink felt like I was wearing them backwards, and a set of similar Sony over ear felt like I was wearing backwards with the same stupid headband. Bose and Sony head bands were curved on the bottom; the part that touches your head so it didn't distribute the weight. I felt like a narrow ridge was pressing on the crown of my head and wasn't comfortable. Hope this helps, Best of luck.

Great Piece of Gear
These headphones surprised the heck out of me. I work a gig that requires a lot of travel. About six months back my wife bought me the most expensive Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones. I was very appreciative and they were great. Well she started using them for PubG Gaming on her phone while I was not traveling. She loves using the Bose over of EarPods or anything else. When it came time for me to travel I could see the sadness in her eyes that I would be taking the Bose for a few days. She said, “Ya know I would really love a set of these one day hint hint.” So at work I’m stressing about spending another $300 something on a second set of Bose. I decided that I would try to find a reasonable replacement for my Bose and make the Bose, hers. I read reviews on quite a few models on Amazon and settled on these. I am writing this from a flight right now on their wifi. These headphones are just as loud and crisp as the Bose, if not louder. The Noise cancelling is good to go. Just as good as Bose. No difference. For some reason you have the option to disengage the Noise Cancelling with the touch of a button on these, not sure why you would. I have yet to take these headphones on a lengthy international flight (Covid-19 times), so as far as actual battery time, I do not know yet. These headphones are not jet black like Bose. More like a dark charcoal grey or smoke. I will say the Bose look a little sexier. If you want affordability awesomeness - These babies are loud and proud and you will not hear anything related to the aircraft noise. Loud. Damn loud.

Worth more then I paid...
Just loving it. I can't really say much about the ANC as this is mine first support that. Sound is amazing and it really isolate you from the rest of the world.

Great value for the price.
Some distortion at maximum volume,, not a problem to me as that is too loud anyway. Very comfortable and sound is great & good noise cancelling. Travel case is awesome.
