A dame's opinion
I have waxed for years, but it is time-consuming to do at home and expensive at a salon (I'm also an esthetician, so I don't like paying for it when I can do it myself- a pretty literal case of "Who shaves the barber?"). I usually shave with a regular blade, but that can also be time-consuming, especially if you have not been maintaining your garden. Personally, being hair-free is not really on the top of my list of things to do when I am single and not ready to mingle! I purchased this groomer to trim the lilac bush to a decent length before finishing off with a blade. I looked at some of the pricier models that are especially for body grooming, but for $12.99, this seemed to be able to perform exactly the function I needed- to trim the hair without mangling the fancy china. The biggest selling point for me was that the attachments, even the main trimmer attachment, can be removed and rinsed off. I do not have the patience to be cleaning up little hairs with that teeny brush, so this feature scores major points with me.Out of the Box: I truly despise the plastic shrink-wrapping packing that is so ubiquitous these days, but I managed to open it without breaking into a full-on sweat. I appreciate the small, nylon bag that is provided to store the attachments, but it would be great if this came in box that could be used to organize and store it between uses. The plastic body is lightweight but sturdy and the seams are clean and smooth. For my purposes, the size and weight is perfect. A rubberized coating would be an improvement on the buttons, as the on/off slides up and down and you need some grip, but there is a little notch that you can grab with your fingernail. The buttons are also shallow, so there is no threat of breaking them off. The two comb attachments might be considered a bit on the flimsy side, but they should hold up fine because pressure is unnecessary while using them. The rest of the attachments feel very solid and they all slide on and off and lock into place smoothly. If you are using one of the comb attachments, it is easier to first slide it onto the trimmer attachment and adjust the height before you attach to the unit. I tested all of the attachments except the beard/mustache comb, but I may try it next time, as the manual says that its lowest setting (1) is 2mm, compared to 4mm on the clipper attachment and I am looking to get the closest trim I can. There are two charts showing the length of the settings in the manual [...].I used the unit right from the box and it was surprisingly quiet. I used the clipper comb at setting 1 and mowed the lawn in seconds. I did not have any tugging or pulling on the hair.I then tested the trimmer without the comb attachment and it worked well and trimmed down to a stubble. It's very important to pull the skin taught and not put any pressure on it whatsoever. I can't stress this enough because you will get nicks and cuts if you press down at all, especially in fleshier areas. I wouldn't recommend that anyone trim without the guard unless you are an experienced shaver and/or take a lot of care while doing so.I switched to the precision trimmer, which is a smaller version of the standard trimmer head and went in for some detail work. Owwie Wowwie! Totally my bad for going in so willy-nilly, but I found out the hard way that it is not only smaller in size, but the teeth are much shorter too. I will not be trying this again on the lower deck and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else either. Since it is so close and precise, it is a nice attachment for guys cleaning up their sideburns, goatees or more complicated facial hair.I don't have any visible nose or ear hairs, but I tested the attachment anyway. I put it into my nostril a few mms and swirled it around. I have no results to report. Finally, I attached the mini-shaver and used it on the peach fuzz on my upper lip (of my face!) :) I have fine, blonde hair and it is hardly noticeable, but the shaver did not remove the hair. I re-attached the trimmer and went over it first, then the shaver worked great. The hair needs to be barely there and sticking straight up or it will not go into the tiny holes in the foil. I used a small circular motion and the hair disappeared quickly. I'm sure this would work well on the bikini area after a close trim, but it is so small that it would take forever- perfect for the face though.Time spent: less than 15 minutesTotal stars: 5 -I am sure there are better trimmers in existence, but the low price, the variety of attachments, and the convenience of cleaning make this a great product.Total euphemisms for the vagina/pubic hair used in review- 7

3 week review (10 days on vacation)
To start, I didnt expect this to be the best device in terms of quality and longevity for $19.00 but it holds its own in terms of bang for the buck. I decided to give it the first couple weeks of home use and then my most recent 10 day vacation of use before writing my review. The G370 does a really good job on daily facial hair maintenance. I used the mini foil shaver, both edge trimmers and the nose/ear hair trimmer. I havent used the 2 hair/head trimmer attachments as I really didnt need to with a 3 week haircut regimen. The mini foil attachment really surprised me, it really got me by during my vacation in the areas I wanted the least amount of hair. It doesnt replace my actual razor at home but sufficed well while out of town for more than a week. The larger of the two edge trimmers I used as a chin and beard groomer for the days I opted for the 5 o' clock shadow look and the smaller edge trimmer really helps in the fine line areas of trimming as well as touching up around the ears/hairline. I used the nose/ear trimmer a couple times and it works pretty good, well enough I didnt get bothered by nose hairs tickling my nostrils at all, heheh. It holds a charge for a very long time & offers enough power to get the job done in a timely mannor. I went 5 days on a single charge while on vacation and honestly only attached it to the charger to be sure it would have full potential for shaving & trimming, not because it was dieing or running out of charge! All the attchments remove and connect easily and can easily be cleaned form hair debris with the offered cleaning brush. I think some purchasers were using water to rinse thier attachments but I opted not to just to add to the longevity of the metal parts. The only attachment that I used that collected the most hair internally was the foil shaver wich is a double attachment (2 pieces) that allows for easier cleaning. If I never used the trimmer ever again I feel I got my moneys worth out of it already. To end this review, Id like to note that I believe some reviewers leaving negative feedback were expecting the results of a $100+ shaver/trimmer. I went into this purchase expecting a $20 trimmmer and feel I got that and more and will continue to keep this in use on a regular basis along with my regular home shaving items (razors/shaving cream, etc)!

Very Reasonbly Priced Trimmer
At this point with so many reviews of this trimmer there is not really much I can add that will be too helpful I'm afraid. Suffice it to say that this is a very well priced shaver/trimmer that has all the attachments one could want for everything from trimming hair, to that of your nose and ears as well. It's small, easy to hold and handle, and shaped in such a way that makes even doing ones back of the neck easy. It charges up quickly and lasts long enough to do several trimming jobs before you need to plug it in again. About the only couple of things I can say I don't like about this trimmer is there is no stand that comes with it for storing it upright in between charges. (but they do give you a little nylon bag to store all the attachments in). That wouldn't be so bad, save for the fact that the trimmers bottom is very small and it tips over easily when you just set it down upright. It would have been nice if they either offered a little stand to store it in, or made the base of the unit a little bigger for stability. The other is a minor irritant, but one that I am sure many will well identify with. The instruction booklet is not a booklet at all but one of those big thin fold out papers like the the old road maps. Its in 40 languages like everything is these days and its very difficult to read it when all spread out and follow it in English or any other language. And trust me, you should read the instructions on this before just trying it out. It helps with getting used to how the different heads attach and are most efficient. All in all however despite these two minor issues this is a very reasonably priced trimmer that will do the job nicely for most of us, and I recommend it...
