Welch Allyn 04900-U Quality Medical Diagnostic Products Replacement Halogen Hex Lamp for 11720, 11730 and 11735 Ophthalmoscopes, 3.5V

Fits perfectly replacing my bulb on a WA retinoscope. No problems. Read some of the reviews that it was not an original WA. The “Bigger box” was not typical WA green and more generic. I’m guess easier for inventory control and fulfillment purposes. The bulb itself was inside a smaller tamper proof original Welch Allyn green bulb casing. Works perfectly as my replacement.

I did it for my panoptic opthalamoscope that used 03800-U lamp model that I could not fi d on amazon and the these 09400-U work, although later I found 03800-U later on e-ebay

My Welch Allyn ophthalmoscope stopped working years ago and been so lazy to go to a dealer to fix it. Someone suggested just buying the bulb online and fixing it myself. Bulb was delivered quickly and intact. It works well and it was easy to install.

We bought 4 bulbs for over $80. They came loose in a plastic bag. There is no packaging and there is no writing on the bulbs. They are cheap bulbs bought in bulk and they are advertised as Welch Allyn.
