Bonomo Turkish Taffy Vanilla Flavor (Pack of 24)

If you have ever eaten these when you were a kid, BUY THESE!! They are exactly the same as when I ate these in the late 50's and 60's. It's great big piece of candy that you can enjoy through a long movie or they're hard enough to crack so you can get pieces to suck and swirl around in your mouth for full great long lasting vanilla flavour. Hey, if these were made soft and chewy like Air Heads, they'd be gone in a minute or two. Plus, they're proudly made in America!!

Nothing like the original Bonomo's Turkish Taffy. Flavor was not the same, the Taffy stuck to the wrapper and I had to peel it off, the Taffy was suppossed to be hard so you could crack it, the new Taffy is very soft.

I think we all have some item from our childhood we wish we could experience again but it's gone. Turkish Taffy was that item for me. I was so excited to see it is available again but figured, as some other candies from childhood, just wouldn't taste as good as the memory. Wrong! It tastes just as good as I remember! Having a box of mixed flavors is terrific too. I should put in an order for more before it's gone!!!

The flavor was as I remembered as a child - when I had real teeth instead of crowns. Did I mention that the taffy is very sticky? Enough so that I have to get an older crown replaced because it puled out while enjoying Bonomo's. Some childhood memories should just be visualized instead of experienced. Turns out that this was a $1200 box of candy. What makes it worse I still have 21 bars left. Can't afford to eat the rest.

I like this brand. But this taffy wasn't the same as couple years ago. When I brought it before. It was thinner and the taste wasn't the same. I brought a box. Ate one that was it. Spend all this money thinking it was the same. never again. throw it all away. It sad when they change it . And the customer think it the same. Lost the money I paid on it . Throwing it away.

Are you kidding, this product does not need a review? This product just needs consumed! Bonomo ticklish taffy is F A N T A S T I C - fantastic !! !! This is the best, quantity and quality and taste,,you will not be disappointed.

I used to love this stuff when I went to the movies as a kid, but then it became unavailable. A friend brought me a few bars of banana flavored Turkish Taffy recently. I am not that fond of that flavor, but noted that I could get the vanilla through Amazon.com and went for it. Quite an indulgence, but mmmmmmm!

Although the product has an expiration date ten months in the future, it seemed stale and it stayed hard in your mouth compared to what we remember from years ago. Possibly it has changed some over the years, or our recollection of it has. In any case, food items are non-returnable so I wouldn't risk buying it again.
