Very Tasty!
This was so good! It is gluten free and dairy free so it is not heavy.. I added chicken pieces and chopped broccoli to it and it was very good.

This is soooo good
Dairy/mustard/ect allergy here, and we use this as a base for cream of soup casseroles. I love it baked or boiled witty cauliflower, cheese, and crispy fried onion bits.

Lot of black pepper (Spicy)
Always nice to have a soup that is easy to heat up for a "home" family dinner. Overall flavor of Broccoli soup was good, but it was too spicy for my family. (I believe it's black pepper.) Thickness and overall texture was fine otherwise.

Despite wide range in retail cost, product is solid
I have seen this sell from $3.50 to $12.00 and everything in between. It's been shipped in a sturdy box and also shipped in a flabby envelope in which it ruptured. I have also received shipments that were on the cusp of expiring. That being said, if you get it safely and fresh, it's an excellent base to build on. I add fresh broccoli and others greens as well as REAL chicken broth, heavy cream, mushrooms, onions, garlic, gourmet cheeses, and various spices.

Added Sugar
I just received this soup and have not yet tried it. However I must express my disappointment after reading the ingredients list on the side panel, and finding that two grams of evaporated cane sugar are added to this soup. I am surprised that I did not catch this before I purchased, usually I am quite diligent in studying ingredients. So, I went to the Amazon product description page to see what I missed. And sure enough, no ingredient list is displayed, so I guess I moved a bit too soon without getting my facts. Even if this soup tastes delicious, I would not buy again based on sugar content. I enjoy healthy and wholesome , sugar has no place in my pantry.

YUM
I saute onions in butter & avocado oil, add this soup, chopped broccoli head, organic hard smoked summer sausage diced, capful liquid smoke, dash hot sauce, spoonful garlic, sliced kale or kombu, celery, salt, Trader Joe's unami, simmer for 30-60 minutes and I've got a wonderful keto soup. Add crusty sourdough bread if you're not keto. Make salad dressing with it. Use this as a veggie smoothie base. Oh the possabiities!

Yummy and healthy – what’s not to like?
Yummy and healthy – what’s not to like? Rich and satisfying. A Nice break from coffee in my mug.! Since I plan to live to 100 ORGANIC is a must. No pesticides if you please.

Expiration date was 17 days after the order date; looked and tasted off.
I ordered 4 cartons of this soup on 10/14/20 and received product that expires on 10/31/20. This prevented me from storing the soup for a reasonable amount of time. This wouldn’t be so bad, since I have this soup regularly, but the soup I received was noticeably different than cartons of this same product I’ve had before. It was thicker than usual and a spoonful didn’t taste quite right. I’ve tossed out all 4 cartons. If you get the proper product, the soup is great (it’s why I’ve bought it in stores and online). A previous order from Amazon was perfectly fine, but this second order was bad. You’re better off buying it in-store and checking the expiration date rather than risking getting old products online.
