This is worth the money so far. This comment is posted June 23rd 2023and I will update July 23rd 2023 on how it’s going. I live in the country and my house is tracked in ALOT! We have friends over a lot who dont take off their shoes so mine will be put through a true test! It’s not soft on the feet but it doesn’t hurt either. I like to wear my shoes so it doesn’t bother me. It did have a smell when I opened it at like midnight and by next morning I couldn’t even smell it anymore! This feels thick and like it’s gonna hold up really well! I think everyone needs this rug especially if you live in the country! It’s very eye appealing and brightened up my dark living room! Update!!!! This is august26th 2023 so I’ve now had my rug 2 months and have had lots of tracking in and out with lots of friends and lots of children. I still love it and makes me happy! It’s held up well! My only minor I guess issue you could say but it’s not a big deal to me is after vacuuming so many times it has a few pieces come out but I mean a few in 2 months and can be fixed with a crochet hook. No-big-deal! Love this rug! I want one in every room! Everyone who comes over say they love how it feels on their feet! I always get compliments on it. I highly recommend it!! Cleans easy (and yes it’s had lots of oopsies with all the people who’s came over) and it’s not been a issue. If a spill happens just put a little baking soda and then vacuum it up. Hope this helps someone who is as skeptical as me when buying a big item online without knowing for sure what you will get.

I love this rug so much! My bedroom is huuuuge. For five years I've been trying to make it feel cozy but to no avail. Finally, I bought thus rug and it has helped tremendously! I cannot stop staring at it. I wish it were a bit softer, but considering it's hand woven, I'm not sure thats even possible. The quality of this rug is top tier even down to the fringes. It felt pretty light weight in the package, but once we opened it, you could tell they put time and effort into making this. The color was exactly as it appeared on the pictures and my most favorite thing about it was the ease of putting it under my bed. We simply lifted the bed rails and unrolled the carpet. It did take four of us because we wanted it done quickly. Once we laid it down we didn't have to do much walking on it because it last perfectly flat. I didn't need a mat under to hold it still or anything. It is perfect. It was worth every dollar spent!

Perfect rug - the fringe on the ends elevates the presence and the fibers feel great to walk on. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their space!

A nightmare!! Where the carpet had been tied off was not secure. It easily would unravel in time. It had hard little sticks like toothpicks sticking out. It left a dirty dusty residue on my wood floors and it STUNK BAD!! It was a pricey 9 x 12 rug and I thought it would be first class quality. I don’t think it was checked for quality at all.

I am not sure if it is truly handmade but if I saw this rug at a flea market, I would have no doubts. The rug itself is decent. There are some parts that are either coming unraveled or is normal to be puffing out of the rug. The color is slightly darker than I expected which is a good thing now that I have it on my floor. Its not so soft to the point that you slip across in socks. Your socks do pick up some fibers from sliding your foot on it. My only real complaint is the packaging. From the inside out, it was taped, wrapped in paper, wrapped in the white packaging w/address labeling, and taped again. When it was delivered, it was open and split. You could see and touch the rug. This could be due to the carrier, but better packing could help. I do recommend vaccumimg the rug after opening. This could be due to mine being open upon delivery.

We are so pleased with this jute runner. It’s works very well for our coastal aesthetic. It’s a bit softer than I expected, which I appreciated. I definitely recommend it.

If you plan on placing this rug on any light colored carpet I DO NOT recommend purchasing it. I was so excited when it first arrived and I figured out where I wanted in my bedroom (which has cream carpet). The quality of the rug itself is great, almost all of it laid flat after I rolled it out except one edge (I just placed some heavy objects on it for a few days then it was fine), but the smell was a little overwhelming for two weeks! From time to time a wrinkle will appear since two of the beds legs are on it. When this happens I have to pick the bed up and smooth out the rug. The biggest disappointment was after a month of having the new rug I decided to rearrange my bedroom. When I moved the rug I noticed a dirt like stain it had left where it was placed. Which made sense because I been noticing the carpet to the entrance of my room looking dirty as well but couldn't figure out why since I don't wear my shoes in there. I can only assume It must have to do with the natural fibers of the rug. If you're not planning on putting this around any light colored carpet I would recommend purchasing it. Otherwise I would stay clear of it. And remember to be ready to deal with a smell for awhile if you do buy it. Happy rug shopping!!

Love the look of the rug. Bit of jute rope pieces have come out periodically. Good rug when you have pets at home.
