I love the look, feel and thickness of the wood pieces. I have arthritis so they're much easier to pick up and they snap together with surety so you know the piece is in the right place. Not a fan of the letters on the back because that's cheating and becomes too easy to use them just because they're there. Pieces are consistent and, for the most part, clean (you might have to take a razor to an occasional piece if the particular puzzle was cut near the end of life for the die). Image quality is excellent as well so the finished puzzle looks amazing. The best feature is you can pick the puzzle up and move it when it's done, without it being glued together, and it doesn't fall apart.

This is one of my favorite puzzles I've ever done, and I usually do one every week or two. It's backed with soft balsa-like wood that makes for a secure fit. The back of the puzzle is printed with rows of letters, so if you're not sure if the piece is in the right place, you can look at the backs to see if the letters line up. Because of the wood backing, it's stiff enough I don't end up messing up whole sections if I try to scoot it over a little or my sleeve gets stuck to a piece. The pieces are also a little heavier so I haven't found myself knocking them on the floor and having to search for my missing piece. I would say the only drawback would be if you like to roll up your puzzles when not working on them; pretty sure that wouldn't work with this one.

There’s nothing more frustrating than a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces. This was done in a house with no pets, no little kids, and no vacuum run while I worked the puzzle. Really enjoyed this...until I realized I was never going to be able to finish it. Frustrating.Update: I have changed my overall rating and updated this review because the company reached out and made this right by sending me a new puzzle. I have not put the new one together to confirm all pieces are present, but will trust that it will be a complete box. The puzzle is challenging, and the pieces are solid and fit together well. I look forward to seeing it completed!

This puzzle is awesome! It is very high quality. I love that the pieces are wood. The image is so vibrant. Very happy with this purchase. The letter code on the back was very helpful as well as the additional fold up puzzle image. All these features made family puzzle time so much fun!

I bought this thing early when China locked down just in case we needed it. Glad I did bc California shut down soon after. Puzzle is sturdy and wasn't missing a single piece! Really like the full size poster that came with it. SPOILER ALERT!!! If you get stuck slide the poster under the puzzle for some help.

Beautiful clear picture. Assembly was made easier with the letters on the back. Each price is made from wood so the whole puzzle is very steady

About 15% of the puzzle pieces I had to trim, pull of file puzzle piece edges. See attached photos. Please note edges do not have a clean cut.Section "H" of the puzzle had the letters on the puzzle pieces printed up side down. This is not the type of challenge I'm looking forward to in a puzzle.IOn three puzzle pieces the edges were turned up ( separate from piece) and I could not repair them. Not a pretty sight. I would like a refund please.

This is a beautiful, high quality puzzle. There are unique pieces and it is stamped on the back so you know if the piece in the correct place. It will take you back to Santorini!

The pieces of this puzzle are coded on the back "A" to "H" which shows what area of the puzzle each piece belongs in. The puzzle is constructed of wood. Included was also a full size puzzle poster and a few samples of the wood used in the construction. Enjoyable puzzle.

Have not completed the puzzle yet as it is a Christmas gift,, Will update in February
