ASUS SDRW-08U1MT 9.5mm Ultra Slim Internal DVD Writer with M-DISC Support for Lifetime Data Backup (SDRW-08U1MT/BLK/B/GEN)

I purchased this DVD drive as replacement for the OEM drive that failed in my OptiPlex 5060, and it is working perfectly. I watched YouTube videos before attempting the replacement, and it was pretty easy. Some of the Dell "tool-less" mounting brackets are less than intuitive, but watching the videos really helped. Very happy with this purchase.

Have had difficulty getting 'delicate' PC parts from many vendors. They tend to package everything like it's a USB cable. Things like hard drives and optical drives need to be packaged like a 'Fabergé egg'. I'm glad this company actually gets that. My DVD-RAM drives arrived intact, un-damaged and operational. Thank you so much for saving me from 'return hassle'. Highly recommend!

I didn't use it much - can't comment on dependability and all features. I put it into computer and tested on a few DVDs - it worked for reading files.

Delivered in a cardboard box with no insulation or protection for sensitive electronics (except for packaging bubbles) see pictures. Not even sure if this items is even new. Not recommended.

Arrived in a timely fashion and fit perfectly in my Dell XPS 8910. Worked as advortised.

This was listed in the ad as a new product. I build computers. I have never bought any kind of optical drive and had it come in like this. It was in an unmarked open plastic sack in a different manufacturer's box. There was no paperwork with it, no warranty, nothing. This could be a used drive for all I know. The manufacturing date was March of 2017 almost 2 years ago.

No se si el producto venía defectuoso o si la calidad era pésima. Los materiales de muy se sentían muy poco resistentes el mecanismo muy fragil y súper ruidoso. Lo regrese inmediatamente después de instalarlo y ver su mal funcionamiento.

Il DVD è arrivato con molto anticipo rispetto alla data prevista, dopo circa un mese. Invece è arrivato pochi giorni dopo. Ho installato il DVD su un notebook DELL. Ha funzionato subito senza problemi. Ho solo cambiato la mascherina, con quella montata sul DELL.
