Kitsch Metal Hair Clip for Women 1pc - Hematite

I love this clip. It looks small, and with all that empty space, it did make me doubt it would hold, but yeah, it does a brilliant job. It looks like full metal, but is not as heavy as you'd think. It sits comfortably and doesn't yank at my hair. Love this.

Its strong, the plastic ones claws always break, my hair is shoulder length and its perfect, this is the second one I've bought so that I can keep it in my car in case I leave without putting the other one on in the morning. I use it daily. I put my hair up in different ways, the method I like best is to get my hair in a tight pony tail, then twist it tightly, then put the clip on the roll of hair making sure its griping my hair firmly against my scalp, it looks like a sideways pony tail, and then I don't have to think about until I go to bed! Lots of people have asked how I did this, so I've written my method here. Just a great piece of kit! Happy days :)

I really wanted this to be the clip for throwing all my hair up in one go. It looks beautiful, feels well made, and I was excited to finally try a metal one instead of the usual plastic. In reality it’s a bit smaller than I expected. I could tell just looking at it that it wasn’t going to hold all my hair, and once I tried it out, it confirmed that. My hair is very long (down to my waist) and thick, and it just doesn’t quite manage to hold all of it securely in one go. That said, it’s not a write-off at all. It grips well and stays in place when I use it for a half-up style or to hold part of my hair back. The spring has good tension and it doesn’t feel like it’s going to give up. It’s also comfortable to wear and doesn’t pull when taking it out. I do really like the design and it feels like something you can wear out rather than just around the house. So for long, thick hair, yes it could work but maybe not very thick and very long if you’re hoping to get everything up at once. I’ll still use it, just in a slightly different way than I’d planned.

Very strong and reliable as well as looking good

Such a great hairclip. So sturdy and elegant. I have been using it everyday since I have gotten it and has not failed me since. Strongly made with a strong grip. I don't think this ever will break, not like a cheaply made one.

I bought this after breaking a few plastic ones. It appears well made, and is really pretty in the hair. I do find this to be too heavy for my head though as it seems no matter how I clip it I can feel it pulling on my hair and the weight of the clip and my hair (collarbone length); it ends up pulling out a few hairs every time I wear it. I feel them almost 'ping' out of my head. I have gifted it to my mother who has a chin length bob and it seems to suit her fine.

Absolutely tiny. Far too small for my hair, and immediately slid out of daughter's shorter hair

Really pretty! But a tad heavy, so it slumps down a bit. Might need to learn a new technique for it. If you're great with hair products, this one is probably worth buying.
