Great series, my kids love these books! And I enjoyed them also!

I purchased these books after watching the one season in Netflix. The books are even better than the series. This has become one of my all time favorite series. Great storyline, great character, great development throughout the books.

Bought this series after watching the show on Netflix. The first book was a little slow, but it only got better after that. Great series!

These are young adult science fiction genre. He does like describing everything to the point you just want to skip through those parts but the stories held my attention and I'm a senior. If you like the alternative time line type science fiction you will enjoy these. Be warned there is a lot of blood talked about, some swearing, no sex but they do think about it (not explicit).

On time and good quality

Missing one of the books unfortunately but the rest came ordered nice. Unfortunately had to return them as they wouldn’t just send the missing book. I loved the tv series and was upset they cancelled it so I was hoping to finish it by book instead.

I started watching the Netflix series, ER, I mean, the few episodes and it intrigued me! When I found out the writer is Jonathan Stroud I had to! His Bartimeus series is amazing! I don't think he gets as much praise as he should. Wonderful story! Couldn't put it down!

This box set was the first series I read by Jonathan Stroud and it is an absolute delight. Very atmospheric, humorous, and downright scary throughout. Because of this last point, I'd think the series was more appropriate for an older teen, 15+. I enjoyed the series, and was relieved there was a satisfying ending with plot lines and loose ends tied up.

Daughter loves this set and has read 2 books in as many days.
