Amazon EssentialsMen's Slim-Fit 9" Chino Short

The Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit Short with 9' inseam are anything like slim fit, they are more like fat fit. The bottom of shorts leg is 11" wide when measured folded then 22" circumference and that is too big for slim fit. I am attaching a picture of perfectly fitting shorts from German New Yorker company superimposed over the Amazon Essentials Men's Slim-Fit Short.

The leg openings are way too wide to be considered slim fit. The construction is good and the color was great but the sizing is just off.

I'm somewhat short, but this was a little too large for me, that's OK, but the shorts are very wide on the bottom, Not Slim-fit as they show.

Fit as expected good quality

My husband is 6 ft 180 lbs Size 31 I bought a black pair and navy pair. They were the perfect fit so he wanted more. So we ordered two more pair.

My husband was very cautious about buying these shorts. He’s very picky and has tried multiple brands (designer and off brands). I have to say, these are great. Perfect length for a professional but casual look. Lots of color options and sizes. Fits perfect at the waist. Definitely recommend. We will be buying more colors.

My husband loves the Amazon essentials men slim fit I have purchased him several pairs in all colors and they are always a hit. We live in Tx where it's virtually always warm. He literally lives in shorts 365 days per year so he needs many pairs and these are great. They fit true to size (my husband wears a size 32. They wash well and are very comfortable. There are also nice pockets in all the right places for his wallet, keys and phone. The price is great and I'm so happy to find them on Amazon. I highly recommend!

Have zero issues with the items. I bought 3 the red and grey pattern one as well as the scotch pattern one. Since I can't review all 3 since they're the same item, just different color. I added all 3 in this review.Perfect fit for a 36 inch waist with an inch to spare give or take. Not ultra tight, but still fitting. The patterns on the shorts are tiny and not that visible. They don't draw attention to themselves, and look great with a solid colored or white tee/shirt. I have bought the previous non pattern versions and bought these 3 brand new. (total 6) and have zero regret. Quality is great that bought 3 more, 3 months later and have not seen any visible wear and tear.

It would seem that the shorts pictured are nowhere near the ones delivered. I’m 6’, 175 lbs and 32” waist is perfect but they’re very baggy and run passed my knee even when I pull them high above my waist. Can’t comprehend how they’re labelled slim-fit. The shorts in the pic were clearly tailored for the model. Will be returning these in disappointment and annoyance of having to do so.

After seeing a few mixed reviews I was slightly dubious but when they arrived I was more than happy. The anchor print khaki shorts are definitely darker than they look in the picture but that's fine, they still look good. Sure the quality isn't as good as some of the premium brands (these look and feel thinner and are more prone to creases) but for the money it's a great buy. I'm a 32w (Most brands 32w size will fit me fine) and these fit me well. Tight enough to wear without a belt, loose enough to wear with a belt if I choose to.I paid around £6 for these which is a fantastic price and excellent value. If you can get them for anything less than £12, then it's an absolute bargain. (Picture is of them being tried on right out of the packet, they need a bit of ironing).

I got 34W Shorts and the quality of the item is good, but they're not slim fit, when standing still the bottom of the shots are wide.My legs are larger then the average guy I would say and they still look baggy at the bottom!I am going to keep them as when you're on the move it's not as noticeable really, but not what I thought.

They are not slim fit. I’m a big enough guy with big thighs and these shorts are still unfashionably wide around the legs. I’d would send them back if It wasn’t such a nuisance so instead I’m going to the tailor to get the legs taken in as that will only cost me €10. I would not wear them the way they are as they are too wide and hicky looking.

Awkward fit. Very low rise. Not good for tall people. They were slightly loose in the seat. Tight across the front and loose in the leg. A very very weird cut. Not a fan.
