Size does sometimes matter.
As with reviewer Steve, the lid did not sit securely. As said lid appeared not to be warped I can only surmise that the raised portion which sits within the neck of the bowl needs to be somewhat higher. Another annoying foible is that the bowl itself is a good deal smaller than the skeins it is allegedly designed to hold, this would require a rewinding of the skein prior to inserting.The bowl itself, however, is aesthetically pleasing and would not look out of place on a table, especially if it were to be filled with a selection of confectionery, it would hold a fair few Smar... chocolate beans or even a few grapes.

Bought as a gift for my mother in law, she loves it keeps her wool out of her cats paws so she can knit in peace

Yarn bowl
Nice looking bowl. Slightly rough internal groove at bottom of bowl, not an issue at the moment. Bowl is slightly on the small size for a 100g ball that said it is working and ball isn't rolling aroun of to the floor.

Lid doesn’t fit
Nice wooden bowl, but the lid does not fit.The lid is curved upwards and will not sit flat within the bowl.
