Very easy to use
This book is very easy to use (no planning or prepping needed). It's 30 weeks of spelling with each week having 4 work pages (M-T if you're school days are traditional) based on the weekly spelling words (15 spelling words per week with the option of adding 2 bonus words). I make my daughter flash cards with her words for the week and on our 5th day of school (which has no work page) we do a spelling test. I log the words that she has mastered (on a simple form I created to track her spelling progress), and I log the words (if any) that she's still struggling with (we continue to review the flashcards for the "struggling" words for a future test that I give her). I highly recommend this book as an addition to your Homeschool curriculum (tip/hint: if you have multiple children at different ages/grades and you don't mind printing, you could always copy the pages for future use with your next kiddo in line)

Good Content
We've been using this book for a few months. I like the content, I think they chose the words well and the activities that go with the words each week. I do not like that the pages are back to back. I have copied the pages I wanted my daughter to use rather than pulling them out of the book. For example: week 2 spelling list is on the back page of a week 1 activity

Excellent
Love this workbook for my child. He needs to keep practicing his spelling and this makes it fun and easy and not overwhelming. It has 30 weeks of lessons, but you can do it in half the time or use as a supplemental for school.

I liked the format of the spelling lessons. My child also liked the book.
My child 8 yo liked the way the spelling lessons were formatted. The lessons flowed & was easy to follow along. As a parent I also agreed with my child's review.

Great Spelling Supplement
We use this as a supplemental spelling curriculum for homeschooling and it keeps the kids engaged. The words are on point for grade/reading level and the activities inside are easy enough for independent work while reinforcing spelling. We will continue to use Evan Moor workbooks for years to come.

It’s working
Homeschool - after using my curriculum’s provided spelling program with my older daughter kindergarten through fourth grade, I found she really didn’t know how to spell words very well. Fifth grade, I tried a workbook similar to this, sixth grade I tried a whole other program. I was not satisfied with either of these. I got this workbook this year, I really feel like it works well. I got this, grade 3, for my younger daughter so they have the same thing and want to help her spell better starting at a lower level. I did order one grade level down, because I feel like we are still trying to catch up in our spelling and it seems just right, some words she knows easily, some words she still learns (she is also a very young 4th grader)
