There are actually several typos in this book. Overall, I like the book and there is a ton of good information in it, but the typos make it less-reliable. It’s also very small font- just a heads-up.The seller shipped this very quickly, though.

Many, many typos. I just struggled over calculating ANC (which I struggled with during school) for a review question. I realized that not only did they have a typo for WBCs (question said 3, answer explanation used 4) but the formula to calculate ANC was wrong. This is not the only typo, but the most significant so far since I know most of my classmates struggled over ANC calculation as well.

This book has the perfect amount of information to pass the NNP boards. In reading eh description I thought there would be a separate text at the end, but it turns out the questions are at the end of each chapter. Not a big deal, but just FYI for those looking into this book.

There are multiple typos in the book, which greatly makes me lose trust in the accuracy of the rest of the content. For example, there is a question in chapter 4 where they calculate with the wrong WBC count and give a completely wrong calculation and answer. This sent many members of our group into a spiral and mass confusion on how to actually calculate an ANC.If I could go back, I would probably not purchase this book for NCC prep. The only thing I really like was the brief embryology section for each system, but that’s about it.

Great review book for the exam- but the typos drove me crazy!

My book arrived scratched up with a bent corner despite the packaging being intact. It almost seems used which is disappointing considering the price. Wouldn’t recommend…
