Royal Talens Amsterdam Acrylic Standard Tubes, 20ml-Tubes, Set of 24 (100516105)

I have been using and teaching gelli plate skills for years and generally use Golden paints because they are in general the best paints there are and I generally use the fluid acrylics. However, now that I have discovered Amsterdam paints I will be using them except when I am making very large mono prints. These Amsterdam paints are the perfect consistency for gel plating. They cover well and the selection of colors in this set is wonderful. Unfortunately the tubes are small and you will have to replace your favorite colors soon. But that is why I purchased this set; to sample many of the colors. In the future I will purchase larger individual tubes of some of my favorites. I feel this set is a wonderful investment for all who make mono prints on Gel Plates.

Great color selection,price, and quality is high!

These acrylics look awesome regardless which brand of floetrol you use. If your using Australian floetrol, it'll look amazing. If your using Amercan floetrol, it'll look better than any other acrylics paints that you've previosly used with the American floetrol. In other words, these Amsterdam paints are vivid and well worth the cost. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, these are awesome to use. As a beginner, they are much easier to use versus other brands of paint and they can help mask beginner mistakes. I'm not sure how these work with water since I don't use water, just floetrol.

Best acrylic paint out there for printing on papers!

Great deal for starter pack, lots of popular and basic colors to try! The packaging job was horrible though, my box was open and paints in shipping box. Once I sort them and be sure all is there, I'll be happy.

I use this brand of paint regularly. This set contains their standard quality versus expert paint. The color selection is reasonable and it's nice to have small tubes for travel or just to test some colors. I like the fact that they are packed in multiple trays so I can pull the tubes I am using out and keep them organized on a table leaving the other tubes in the box. The Amazon price with a discount is less than other on-line art suppliers. At the list price, not necessarily the cheapest.

I like the colors and their consistency They are very pigmented and dry fast The color mixes nicely and as expected No wired pigments etc Nice starter set but can be used professionally as well I have added a picture so you can see the colors included in this set ( just 🤩 perfect) The packaging is acceptable for the price! I need a box to store my colors ;)

I have gotten so many uses out of these little tubes!! It's great for testing out what colors you like. Amsterdam paints are great!

I bought these paints for my wife and she’s loving the quality and flow of the paint so now I’ll be buying larger sizes. The only drawback is they took awhile to get here.

As an amateur artist, for high school, these colour choices are more than enough and such a beautiful range of shades, tints, and tones that would make your canvas dazzle. I love them so much that they give me more than enough hues to work with, and take away the difficulty of mixing some colours that don’t give me quite the right shade I’m looking for. That’s what pre-mixed colours help with. It also nullifies the need to have massive bottles of every hue, which would be so difficult if not in the comfort of your own storage facility where you can keep them for however long you want and take them out whenever you need - with these Amsterdam paints they allow me to carry them in my bag, to travel with them, and also don’t entice me to use too much paint and waste it ❤️. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. My go-to paint set❤️
