Works great in Synology NAS
Bought this for a DS923+ and it's worked great as I'd expect from a first party product. Worth the cost not to have to worry about compatibility.

Perfect for my symbology nas
I wanted to buy genuine memory but it’s typically way overpriced. I got 4 gb of official memory for 20 dollars - which is still a bit expensive for what it is but that’s dirt cheap for official memory. I got it because there were times with the 2gb stock memory that we’d get some buffering, between me and my kids. There’s no issue since installing the extra 4 gb. If you can get it cheap it’s great.

A MUST HAVE upgrade for your NAS
While our office is not huge, $80ish was a small price for upgrading the RAM from the shipped 2Gb to 6Gb. The NAS and drives were around $450 so an extra $80 is negligible for this huge %age upgrade. We use our NAS as our file server, so there are times when even with 2 of us using it, it does do some hard work. After a bunch of reading, this seemed a logical upgrade to do in terms of how we utilize the NAS.

Works flawlessly in my Synology DS 220+, it is a bit pricey
Decided to go with the pricier memory from Synology because I decided the cost savings by choosing another memory chip brand wasn't worth it. I just want something that works perfectly.
