Hose and Pipe Maintenance Sheets Compatible with MD Central Vacuum

initially very skeptical but the sheets work i got a fair amount of pet hair and material out of the 25 foot hose and 2 of the 6 outlets. The system showed improvement in the suction. If your system show marked reduction in suction probably worth trying. More of a tune up then rotorouter.

We developed a blockage in our Beam Central Vacuum system after Christmas, attributed it to an abundance of pine needles and a few small pieces of branch. It impacted two of our six outlets. Tried clearing the blockage with a shop vac and we seemed to have success after a few tries and letting it run for a bit. Saw these as part of the search as to what we can do to clear a blockage. Seemed a bit pricy but ordered them; 21 year old central vac that is really great, the price was small in comparison to a call to someone to help. Ran a towel through each of the six hose outlets and two "dustpan" outlets that we ran half of one through. This was not meant to clean the hose or pipes, was an attempt to be sure we had no blockages and if it cleared some dirt or debris, that's a bonus. Well it worked great, ran one through, checked the central unit to be sure it was there then ran another. You can see from the pics the wipes that went through the system. Now that we have them will run through periodically, maybe every 4-6 months.

We have a central vac (20+ yrs) that developed a bad smell. Decided to try these. I was afraid to suck the cloth through. When I did, it clogged the vacuum. The cloth got stuck on a bad clog inside the pipe. Luckily the clog was close to the bottom where the pipe attaches to the can/motor. We got it cleaned out and I have since sucked through 5 or 6 more sheets. These won’t clog your vacuum unless you already have a bad clog that needs to be removed. If you are on the fence about these, order them and clean the pipes while you can. Good product!

It did what it's supposed to do - clean out my vac pipes. No clogging and after 2 towels I could feel an increase in suction. Never gave this a thought until I happened to see the product.

The previous owner of my home had a few dogs. I hated using the built in vacuum because of the strong dander smell in the garage after use. I placed 3 sheets in each wall connection. They did a great job cleaning the hoses and pipes as well as toning down the smell.

This product is way overpriced for what you get. At the time I purchased it, it was the only available product on Amazon and I didn't feel like spending more time searching for other products or different alternatives. But it does receive 3 stars for working really well cleaning out the vacuum pipes.

Great product

I had a long run of central vac pipe in a attic area above the insulation. Condensation or something caused a blockage of dust/lint etc to build up blocking the pipe after 20 years. Had to locate it and replace pipe to fix. I now suck these things through the pipe on a regular basis to keep it clear. Easy to use.
