Ovando Fragrance Collection Candles

Do not purchase! Received these items in such bad condition. The interior of the boxes is torn and tattered for both candles I bought. There were Dust on the exterior of both boxes. This is really bad for candles at this price and they were meant for gifting!

Really fragrant and long burning candle for the price. Very luxurious and makes me relaxed and happy every time I light it! I can smell throughout my entire house after about an hour or so of burning...Glad even my husband likes this and will def buy again! gorgeous!

This is a fairly heavy candle in a glass container which is recommended to burn for up to two hours at a time. The candle emits a fairly mild odor which is unlike anything I have ever sniffed but it is not offensive. The primary purpose of the candle is to try to mellow down the scent coming out of the gas pipe that is our pet Dobie. Certain foods set off his gas producing machinery and the result is very unpleasant. This candle does help a bit.

This is a nice, simple, elegant candle with a fairly strong scent. I'm not sure how to describe the smell, but it is something of a cross between perfume and cologne.Amazon's page says to not burn longer than four hours at a time, but the box itself says to not burn it for more than two hours at a time. The box states 55 hours as the approximate total burning time (probably would depend a lot on whether you follow their instructions to trim the wick).I would recommend using this candle for romantic evenings when you'd like to add a nice perfume / cologne ambiance to the room.I do find it hard to justify $60 for a candle so I'm not sure how many people would actually buy this.

Visually, this is one classy candle. It comes in a understated black gift box with recessed gold accents. The candle itself is a matte black cylinder that looks great anywhere you put it.The scent is pretty classy, too: an intriguing mix of floral and citrus. Sunshine for the nose.However, if you're looking for something subtle, be warned. This thing ASSERTS itself. You don't even need to light the wick. Its scent quickly permeated my reading room, even before I took the cover off!So if you're looking for a candle for outdoors or a large interior, or just prefer a strong scent, this may be an excellent choice.The beautiful package makes it a great gift for friends prepared to handle its high wattage.A transparent plastic cover seals the cylinder when needed, a useful touch for storage or travel.

This is a strange candle.. Other than its high price point ( at this time ) its instructions state not to light over two hours at a time... I am a candle burner.. I come home, relax, open a bottle of wine and light a candle or two.. Usually for more than two hours more like around four .. So the idea that this candle should only be burnt for two hours was a little strange but its a high fragrance candle, and the fragrance will probably be overpowering or too strong if lit longer?I followed the instructions and I guess the instructions are true.. After the timer went off my living room was nicely fragrant with a tea-e flower scent.. Lighting for three hours would be too much, although when I blew the candle out the smell slowly went away.. For the next couple nights I lit the candle again for two hours, and the same effect my living room smells great ..So my final conclusion is this candle is as intended.. It smells great at the moment, and does fill the room up with a very fragrant unique scent that I would expect to find at a high end retailer or fancy decorated home.. The candle should last for 55 hours, that is almost a month of daily lighting if I want the ambiance this candle creates. I gave it four stars to start, but realized its a pretty strong smelling candle and although priced high its most likely worth it to the market that can afford it .

Unlike my other candles, the Ovando candle fills the whole room with its scent. The scent is hard to describe, but I like it a lot. It isn't heavy or overpowering. It's light and smells kind of fruity to me.The candle itself is medium-sized and looks nice, but I wish that it didn't have the brand's name on it. It's not a sticker that can be removed. It is also waaaay overpriced at $60. There is absolutely no reason it should be that expensive. It also is not supposed to be lit for more than two hours at a time which I thought was strange.I gave it a four-star rating because I do like it, and it smells great, but I knocked a star off for the price and my other quibbles.
