Tissues MUST be removed from the original box, then placed into tissue box holder because the boxes are too tight to fit the holder. I bought them so I wouldn’t have to spend so much time looking for tissue boxes that match my decor all the time.Important to note- The base has a sliding cover. You put the tissue box in, then slide the base cover on. The wood box needs to be just a hair taller or cut better because it’s challenging to get the base cover to slide back on once a tissue box is in. I just smash all the edges of the tissue box down and slide the cover on. I think someone said that Target’s Up & Up brand of tissue fits best, but I’m not sure? I have only had Up n Up on hand so far.
