While this corset is higher quality than other corsets I've purchased, It's a bit too big for me. I'm around 130 lbs, 5'5, and ordered the XS based on other reviews saying it was a little too big. I'm a size 27 or 28 in pants, for reference. The area that's too big is the bottom area. I thought I would be find because I do have a curvy silhouette, but i guess the hip area is just too big in general. Putting that aside, it cinches my waist in pretty well. With the correct way to tighten a corset, where the gaps to lace in the back are straight, it still has a curvy corset shape, unlike others I've seen where the corset is straight, but they cinch the waist super tight to make the corset appear curvy, so I really like that part about the corset. Not sure if it's steel boning or not, but that doesn't matter because it still closes my waist in very nicely. I purchased this for the function of waist training, and helping me correct my posture and my breathing habits, so I was looking for a tight fit.
