This is so much fun to work with. See review for a project idea.
I had to have this for a class that I was taking. This stuff is really cool. It is fusible on both sides. On top of your pressing surface place a sheet of teflon then what ever size piece of this product that you cut to fit the size of the fabric that you are using. This will be hard as a rock. Next place your fabric on top and press into place with your steam iron, the fusible side facing teflon will not stick. The steam will loosen it up to make it more pliable. Once it is securely fused into place, flip it over so the fabric side that you just fused into place is now facing the teflon sheet. The 2nd side of fusible will now be facing up. Place a piece of fabric to fit and fuse in place like you did the other side with steam iron. If you don't have a steam iron, you can mist it a bit with a spray bottle of water, just a little bit of water. It should work with just heat but works better with a bit of steam. It should be fused in place on both sides now and much softer than when you started. You can now do some thread painting on this if you wish. Keep it flat as you do the stitching at your machine. Once you have your desired look, you can cut this into what ever shape you like. Here is the fun part. Bring it back to your pressing surface. Take a wet towel that is rung out and place on top of this and press with your steam iron until it is (for lack of better words) like a wet noodle. Once you have achieved this, remove the towel. Be careful it is HOT. You might need gloves. Use a glass or a bowl as a form, placing your wet noodle like fabric on to the glass or bowl to form the shape that you want this project to take. As you hold it into place to take its new shape, you can use a blow dryer or a low temp heat gun (not a torch 🤣)to dry this quicker. If you like, you can shape it free hand as you go before it dries completely. You can also make a few cuts in this (before the wet noodle stage) to do a shape other than your mold. Once dry it will be hard like a rock. Ok maybe not as hard as a rock but close. Have fun!

It is a very tuff stablizer, used to make sturdy boxes, etc.
I bought this item for a special project that specifically called for it. It is moldable, just like it says. However it is a very, very stiff stabilizer, and it takes a special needle. Also it was hard to sew on and hard on my machine.

FOLDABLE? - YES! MOLDABLE? - NO WAY!
Maybe I was expecting too much, but when something says "moldable" I feel you should be able to take it in your hands and mold it into a shape - you cannot. Once heated, it can be folded (with a soft crease) and you could probably form it into a cup shape. But I was expecting the consistency of a wet cloth. It is not even close to that. It goes from cardboard consistency to damp cardboard consistency. Very disappointed.

I was very pleased with the final outcome of my project. Although it is stiff to cut.

Will not soften up enough to work with
Wasted a lot of time trying to make this work per the pkg instructions. It does not work as described. Maybe it is old???
