It is what it says it is, not my favorites so read carefully. You may like another volume better depending on your genre choice. It arrived on time and is useful.

Great gift for guitar player

Anyone with a guitar can play songs with this book, I'm learning stairway to heaven right now 🙏

Once again I bought it used. I have done that for most of my music books. The book condition is marked "Good" and it actually is. There is no writing , bend, torn pages or major blemish, while I saved more than half the price of a new one. Music layout is clear and comprehensive. There is chord diagram at every point, making it easy to play, especially ar places where you're supposed to play a bar chord instead of simple chord. Song selection is great. I have read some review stating that songs by Led Zeppelin and the Stones were missing, but I didn't encounter this issue with my copy. All the Zeppelin songs listed on index are there. Zeppelin songs are the main reason why I bought this book.

I gave it stars because I do like how it has tab notation as well as the staff and notes and note letters above, but I'm calling false advertising on the cover. If you look at the picture you see Rolling Stones 500 Greatest songs. I thought I was getting 500 songs. If you put your glasses on and zoom in, in black print (which blends well with the blue background), it says something like 76 songs out of the...500 greatest songs. They should have made that text larger and in a white font so it was visible to the buyer. It does have some songs I like, many I don't know, so buyer beware.

Within 60 seconds I was gritty! Great for intermediate players, and even some beginners that have made it to power chords. If you thought this book contained 500 songs... SUCKER!!! Ha, jk I read a bunch of reviews before I purchased about people crying about "false advertisement," but if you can't read product description I doubt you were looking to learn 500 songs. ANYWAY! ... I haven't played the guitar in over 15 years, and decided to pick it back up and am so glad I went with this book. Although I obviously haven't been through all the songs, the ones I've skimmed across with my guitar are awesome! I never post my reviews, so for me to be posting this within the day of receiving shows how happy I am with purchasing this book.
