just what i needed for my class

I used this book in my Domestic Violence class and when I first got it I was like okay I know enough about Domestic Violence. However this book is really helpful in teaching about Domestic Violence all over the world. I liked learning new terms like Dowry. I also liked how it was easy to read and really made it clear about the challenges victims face. I liked that it looked in to more areas then just female victims or children. This book made my class very informative.

This book is being used in my Domestic Violence class this semester, and it has brought a great amount of awareness about this topic across the world. I have been shocked to learn the horrors that many women suffer across religions, economic circumstances, and developed countries. I am also intrigued at how men suffer from domestic violence, but it seems like a taboo topic. Prostitution, child abuse, and elder abuse are covered here as well. This is a great book with very insightful information. You will not be disappointed with the purchase of this book!
