Product description Loving Foods Kimchi is a western take on a traditional Korean dish, made with a variety of different vegetables and spices, preserved with salt and lactic acid bacteria. Our Kimchi is naturally cultured using organic ingredients and traditional fermentation techniques. This method of preparation has been used for thousands of years to enhance and preserve the nutritional value and flavour of food. Fermented foods form an important part of the diets of cultures throughout the world, who cherish these foods for their high vitamin, enzyme and probiotic content, and their ability to promote good health and wellbeing. Loving Foods Sauerkraut and Kimchi is naturally fermented using unprocessed Celtic Sea Salt and nothing else but love and time. During this process, the nutrients and natural bacteria present in the vegetables are multiplied, and other compounds that were not present before, are produced. The final product is packed full of beneficial bacteria, enzymes, vitamins and minerals that help to promote good digestion and a healthy gut, leading to an improvement in general health. They are not only healthy, but also delicious, and work great as part of a salad, or as a condiment alongside your meals to add flavour, colour and texture. Important note: It is normal for our jars to occasionally leak during transit due to the ongoing fermentation of the product, pressure build up in the jar and release of CO2. We do our best to send our cultured vegetables in protective packaging to try to contain the juice, but don't worry if one or two leak a bit. This doesn't affect the product in any way and you can always top up the jars with mineral water and a good quality salt if you wish. This ongoing activity is perfectly normal for a living probiotic food and is a great sign that the product is raw, unpasteurised and alive. Review: Tastes Amazing! - I bought a jar of regular Kimchi and one with Turmeric and Black Pepper, and I couldn't be more pleased. Both Jars arrived superbly packaged and vacuum sealed in case of leaks, but there were no leaks at all. Furthermoe my order arrived two days early, so it was a nice surprise when they arrived. Now down to the all important flavour; I've had authentic Sauerkraut before and love it, but Kimchi has some added kick so I was expecting some spice and I wasn't disappointed and it wasn't overly much, and it tastes great! Now, I'm not sure whether "authentic" Korean Kimchi uses Cayenne pepper, but it's probably Gochujang formented chilli paste they use over there, which, if you haven't tried yet, I highly recommend—I put it in soups, stews, stir-fries, even mexican chilli with a Korean twist. I will definitely buy this Organic Raw Kimchi again, before I run out :)

I bought a jar of regular Kimchi and one with Turmeric and Black Pepper, and I couldn't be more pleased. Both Jars arrived superbly packaged and vacuum sealed in case of leaks, but there were no leaks at all. Furthermoe my order arrived two days early, so it was a nice surprise when they arrived. Now down to the all important flavour; I've had authentic Sauerkraut before and love it, but Kimchi has some added kick so I was expecting some spice and I wasn't disappointed and it wasn't overly much, and it tastes great! Now, I'm not sure whether "authentic" Korean Kimchi uses Cayenne pepper, but it's probably Gochujang formented chilli paste they use over there, which, if you haven't tried yet, I highly recommend—I put it in soups, stews, stir-fries, even mexican chilli with a Korean twist. I will definitely buy this Organic Raw Kimchi again, before I run out :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pickled food lovers should try

I have made a few orders in the past. This one has turned up smashed unfortunately . Tried to contact seller but received automated response and it's non returnable. I have been contacted with replacement items being sent which is good. If you are one for pickled foods these are a healthy alternative with plenty of flavor.
