RAVN HAMAN Set of 4 Heavy Duty Castor Wheels 75 mm, Brake, 50 kg

I built a ride on railway for my grandson, which runs through my workshop. I have a side maintenance for working on locos/wagons when needed but I needed to be able to move them between tracks, locos can weigh anything up to 250kg with 2 x 90ah batteries fitted so I decided to build a DIY gantry with an electric winch and timber I had around the workshop. Building it was easy enough but I needed it to be mobile. I had some old wheels from B&Q from a few years ago, they were fine for rolling up and down but weren't great when the wheels needed to spin (for changing direction etc) so I opted to give these ago. They arrived nice and quickly after ordering. Winner, these wheels are great. They glide effortlessly and spin and turn with a 250kg load as if there was nothing on them and they are silent. To top it off there's no play in the bearings which gives my gantry a nice solid feel whilst remaining full mobile. I would highly recommend these if you are looking for something well built that will move loads effortlessly. I'll be getting more the next time I have a project that needs to be mobile.

Good solid castors as described and arrived promptly. Used on our mobile kitchen island giving the perfect clearance and smooth sturdy operation. Really please with the quality and price. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

They are as described, however they do not have a ball race on the axle, (just a plain sleeve bearing), the only ball race is on the plate that allows them to swivel in different directions. Also there is a strong and mildly offensive smell from the rubber tyres, although tha5 may fade with time. So mine will be going back, as for a few pounds more there are better made, (with ball races on their axles), which I would prefer.

These are first class pieces of kit. They are now supporting a VERY heavy 1m sq. planter which houses an olive tree.

A good set of sturdy wheels, bought for outdoor use. The base and wheel supports have stood up very well to the vagaries of the weather for over two years so presumably they are made of stainless steel. Sadly the brake levers are not, as one has rusted and broken, jamming the wheel. I would recommend these wheels for indoor use but suggest you look elsewhere if you want them to last outdoors for more than a couple of years.

These castor wheels were exactly what I needed to turn an old pallet into an outside table. The locking function keeps the table secure but makes it easier to move around when needed.

Wir haben dieses 4er-Set Transportrollen von RAVN HAMAN vor genau fünf Jahren gekauft und damit einen Fernsehtisch nachgerüstet. Besonders wichtig war uns, dass die Rollen aus Vollgummi gefertigt sind: Sie rollen absolut lautlos und haben über die Jahre nicht einen einzigen Kratzer auf unserem Boden hinterlassen. Was uns im Langzeittest besonders überzeugt hat: ✅ Enorm hohe Tragkraft – die 50 kg pro Rad stecken auch dauerhafte Belastung locker weg ✅ Absolut lautloses, flüssiges Rollen dank der hochwertigen Vollgummierung ✅ Zuverlässige Bremsen, die den Tisch bombenfest an Ort und Stelle halten ✅ Leichtgängiges 360-Grad-Lenkgetriebe, das auch nach 5 Jahren nicht hakt Die Bremsen lassen sich einfach mit dem Fuß bedienen und blockieren die Räder komplett, sodass der Tisch absolut sicher steht und nicht versehentlich verrutscht. Obwohl es sich hierbei um robuste Industrierollen handelt, die man auch draußen nutzen könnte, machen sie sich durch das schlichte Design auch im Innenbereich unter den Möbeln optisch sehr gut. 👉 Irgendwann merkt man solche praktischen Optimierungen im Haushalt gar nicht mehr – bis man beim Saugen den Tisch einfach mit einer Hand beiseite schiebt und sich über die gesparte Mühe freut. 💡 **Fazit:** Eine absolut lohnenswerte Anschaffung für jeden, der schwere Möbel mobil machen möchte. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist auch nach 5 Jahren wie am ersten Tag, es gibt keinen Verschleiß oder Qualitätsverlust. Für diese Zuverlässigkeit geben wir liebend gerne glasklare 5 Sterne! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
