Freshy assembled and sat in, all I could think was holy crap... This is the most comfortable desk chair that has ever graced my cheeks! The material is a soft leather of very good quality. The look and feel is classier than expected. The cushion gives just enough to feel heavenly while still remaining firm enough to give support. It doesn't look like it from the photos advertised, but let me tell you this chair has *perfect* lumbar support. The cushion perfectly nestles into my back arch, a feat I haven't ever experienced before. EVEN with chairs that came with that "lumbar pillow" nonsense. It never felt good after a while, as I'm sure we all can attest to. But this baby? Mmph. Amazon knows how to treat us desk jockeys out there. If it can feel this good working, then I can't imagine how great it's going to be to use during a gaming sesh. It's very sturdy and has a great weight to it. The wheels roll smoothly (even on carpet!) which I didn't realize had been such a pain before with previous chairs. I'm now able to glide out from the desk and in without even the teensiest struggle. The color is represented perfectly, it's exactly the grey as pictured. Delivery was fantastic, and arrived a full FOUR DAYS early! Very surprising. Assembly was pleasantly surprising as well, by far one of the easiest I've had. The instructions are clear printed and straight forward. Had the two we purchased up and ready lickety-split! And solo at that. Price point I think is just right, near 140 for this chair is more than fair for the quality and comfort, yet doesn't threaten to leave you munching noodles for a week. I highly recommend this chair if you're in the search of a comfy upgrade! Your cheeks will thank you, trust me. Mine still haven't shut up.

This gray chair is comfortable, stylish, and easy to assemble. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs an office chair for a modern space. The gray color I purchased fits my decor perfectly.

I love this chair for it's aesthetic and color and everything. I made sure that the computer chair we got had a chrome or metal base and not just hard plastic like some other cheaper options on here have. The creamy ivory color is very nice. The fabric is very nice and comfortable and also gives a cooling effect but may warm up on your butt after a while. Like leather does sort of. But I should have known... It's a cheapy/ fake leather fabric. So if you have cats in your house... Beware. This fabric will NOT hold up to their claws. After a day it was doomed. And if you work from home and have a cat or two, you KNOW they love to be all over you and hanging out where you're hanging out. Bc they love their humans. And that means sitting on top of the back of the chair and annoying you with their love. Even if they don't consciously scratch at it, their claws poke right through the fabric. And then once they realize that, and feel the sensation of their claws poking in... it's game over it's a scratching post now 😂 It isss comfy and cute and functional but it was my mistake for thinking the fabric would be strong enough to withstand my cute little demons. I may eventually just reupholster it. it's easy to assemble and unassemble. And works fine. I'll probably ask for some help and get a boucle fabric which hides cat scratching snags on furniture, it's what I have on the bottom of my dining chairs in the same ivory color. Would be cool if someone made a cute office chair like this that has cat proof fabric on it and still looks sleek in design and is affordable!!! Now that it appears we will be working from home for several more months, I had to get a comfy chair; my DR chair, with a cushion and pillow, just wasn't working anymore. I researched and wanted a decent chair, for a reasonable amount of money. This is that chair! Look no further if this is your price range!!! It's SO nice!! The ivory color caught my eye, reading the reviews and that one gentleman's video were all very helpful. I am so not handy and I put it together all by myself. I took my time and followed the diagram/instructions. The wheels need to be turned quite a bit before they will say on. I don't understand that part, but I finally got them all to stay on. If you are alone, you should use a mirror to put the seat on top of the lil pole thingy on the wheels, because there is no way you can tell when you are close! I am a plus-size person and this seats my bottom well! ; ) I am so happy and I'm sure I won't be sore and stiff when I get up to take a break after working for several hours! Its just so pretty too!! Oh and I love how it rocks!!

As millions of people, I've been working from home for the past couple months due to coronavirus pandemic. When my company announced that we can work from home for the remainder of the year, I decided it's time to upgrade my impromptu home office and get a better chair as the dining chair I was using was killing my back. I had to organize my home office in the guest bedroom and wanted a chair that would permanently stay there, fit with the interior and would not look too much like an office chair. When I came across this chair I got very excited. It definitely met my expectations. Another important thing for me was that the chrome parts are actually chrome and not painted plastic. It was relatively easy to put together, I did it myself, but it would have been helpful to have a second set of hands as it was a bit tricky to connect the seat cushion with the back part. I've only been using this chair for one day, but I sat in it from 8:30am until 7pm and I couldn't be happier.

Update: 4 years later. Just replaced my chair, as the seat has flattened after years of sitting 50+ hours a week working from home. Still in great shape. No tears. Still raises and lowers, though it tends to sink a little every day. lol. Can’t complain. I love this chair! I have back and hip problems and worried this chair wouldn’t be comfortable. It is super comfortable. I love the color too. The leather is so soft. It’s gorgeous. Easy to put together for the most part. I have arthritis in my hands so the wheels were tough for me. The wheels roll smoothly. I love the arm rests. They’re higher up than normal office chairs but they’re not too high up. I would definitely recommend this chair.

I couldn't find a chair on Amazon with 80% or better review rating, so I went to Staples and tried all the chairs they had. After trying a Lazy Boy chair (which had a very comfortable and supportive seat), I brought it home ($231 with price reduced from $249 to $199) and sat in it for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, my right hip was hurting so badly that I had to limp around the rest of the day! Returned it that night! This Amazon Basics chair was the highest rated leather chair I could find on Amazon at 76% (the highest one was velvet fabric at 78% which I didn't want), so I ordered it. I've now sat in it for hours at a time---the seat is comfortable and supportive and I have no problem with my hip! I can't rate for "easy to assemble" because I found putting the casters on, the back on, and the arms on--were all challenging. The only help I had was my Chihuahua at the time and she doesn't do chairs! Also can't rate for ergonomics, but I CAN testify that my hip doesn't hurt after hours of use---so I am a happy camper!! Thanks, Amazon!!!

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS ORDER!!! It was in a box inside of a box and they were both pretty much destroyed. I got this office chair for my husband for his birthday. The back of the chair was stained. I was able to remove part of the stain. There are tears in different areas of the chair. The worst part is that it won't assemble. The sizes of the screws are wrong. They don't seem to match any of the holes. The worst part is that I can't return it. It's too big for me to get it into my car, let alone to the UPS store. (I wasn't able to upload any of the pictures.) Any suggestions?!

Great value for this type of chair

I've had this chair already for a few years, it's very comfortable. I am a heavier set woman (around 250lbs) and it's been very supportive. The only thing I don't like about it is that it squeaks a lot when you lean back on the chair and its starting to peel on the armrests. I am just very happy it supports me and is very comfortable which is what is most important. I think my cat uses it more than me though since I work quite often :P Great purchase overall!
