Review: Does the job! - I purchased this grinder because I wanted to try grinding my own coffee beans instead of buying pre-ground coffee. Since I wasn’t sure how much of a difference it would make, I decided to start with an inexpensive grinder rather than spend a lot of money on a more advanced model. To my surprise, grinding fresh beans made a noticeable difference in the flavor of my coffee. Based on my experience, this grinder does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well. The grinder is easy to use and isn’t nearly as loud as I expected. It doesn’t offer adjustable grind settings, so you’re limited to the factory grind size, but for my drip coffee maker it produces grounds very similar to store-bought pre-ground coffee. When I fill it to the maximum line with beans, it produces almost the perfect amount of coffee grounds for my coffee basket. Another thing I appreciate is how easy it is to clean. The stainless steel interior wipes out easily and doesn’t seem to retain odors. During use, the lid does a good job keeping the grounds contained, and I haven’t had any issues with coffee spilling out while grinding. Overall, I am very pleased with this grinder. Works great! When I bought it, it was the first time I had used a coffee grinder, so I didn’t completely know what I was doing. At first, I only ran it for a few seconds. But, I’ve learned, but if you run it for 10 to 15 seconds it grinds the coffee up really well. Definitely worth the value!! It’s also compact and very easy to use.
