The watercolors are highly pigmented, they re-wet easily, and the colors are super vibrant. This particular set is great to use at the studio. The wooden box is nicely built, and sturdy. The tray that holds the pans can be removed to use on a spare tin, if you have one, and take it on your travels. The mixing palette is made of plastic, which can be easily remove for cleaning, and replaced back. The fasteners keep the palette in place. The brushes are beautiful, a synthetic round 4, and a red sable pointed round 8. There's room in the box to add pencils or more brushes. I'm happy with this set.
