Its translucent release paper supports direct image tracing, making it an essential tool for professional creatives seeking flawless protection and control over their artwork. ## Description Original frisket film is the same product that has been acknowledged as the best by artists and designers since 1970. The fine vinyl, in either matt or gloss finishes, cuts cleanly with minimal pressure thus protecting the work surface underneath the frisket. Gloss frisket allows perfect clarity when used inposition directly onto artwork, allowing a clear view of the work. It can also be used as a temporary protective cover for work in progress. Matt frisket will accept pencil drawing so masks can be pre-prepared away from the artwork as well as cut in position. The translucent release paper used on frisket film allows light to come through it, allowing projected images to be traced directly onto the matt surface. ## Features - The original frisket film - Available in sheets and rolls - Available in regular low-tack and new medium-tack - Available in Gloss or Matt finishes - Made in the u.k. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002G6E03Y | | Best Sellers Rank | #66,734 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #338 in Masking Tape #4,369 in Adhesive Tapes #97,341 in Hardware | | Brand | FRISKET | | Brand Name | FRISKET | | Color | Clear | | Compatible Material | Paper, Vinyl | | Container Type | Box | | Customer Reviews | 3.2 out of 5 stars 14 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05018652510117 | | Item Form | Tape | | Item Package Quantity | 1 | | Item Weight | 0.1 kg | | Manufacturer | Armadillo Art & Craft | | Material | Vinyl | | Material Type | Vinyl | | Model | 52700 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Gloss or Matt finishes, compatibility with vinyl and paper, low-tack and new medium-tack options | | Part Number | 52700 | | Special Feature | Gloss or Matt finishes, compatibility with vinyl and paper, low-tack and new medium-tack options | | Specific Uses For Product | Art | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Viscosity Level | Low to Medium | | Volume | 576 cubic inches | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** FRISKET - **Specific Uses For Product:** Art - **Material:** Vinyl - **Item Form:** Tape - **Special Feature:** Gloss or Matt finishes, compatibility with vinyl and paper, low-tack and new medium-tack options ## Images ![Original Frisket 52700 Gloss Masking Film, 10-Inch by 4-Yard - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71gkrkrwJiL.jpg) ![Original Frisket 52700 Gloss Masking Film, 10-Inch by 4-Yard - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51SwieHShWL.jpg) ![Original Frisket 52700 Gloss Masking Film, 10-Inch by 4-Yard - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51UUQ0JNKoL.jpg) ![Original Frisket 52700 Gloss Masking Film, 10-Inch by 4-Yard - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61aeKdy6nBL.jpg) ![Original Frisket 52700 Gloss Masking Film, 10-Inch by 4-Yard - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61WR1Ib1HxL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Frequently Bought Together - Frisket Low Tack Film Gloss Roll, Clear, 254mm x 3.66m, Fine Cut Vinyl, Cuts Cleanly, Removable Adhesive, Self-Adhering, Durable - Vallejo Model Air Airbrush Cleaner, 200 ml, Beige --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/16998803-original-frisket-52700-gloss-masking-film-10-inch-by-4](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/16998803-original-frisket-52700-gloss-masking-film-10-inch-by-4) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
