Speedball 75ml 2.5oz Water-Soluble Block Ink Black, For Block Printing, Lino Printing, Screen Printing, For Artists Kit

Speedball is a very reliable brand for all home printers' needs and this copper coloured printing ink is no exception. It is water based, metallic, and has a very good 'tack' which you can hear when using it and gives confidence that it will give a good print using several methods, including linoprint and also I use it a lot for drypoint intaglio too. This is a generous amount of ink for the price and I like the way it spreads evenly onto the brayer (roller). Being water based, clean up is really simple with some water and a little liquid detergent. I expect to be producing a lot more copper colour prints in the near future.

Top notch quality. They are nice and thick too. They wash off brilliantly, and work dries quickly. One of the best brands I've bought from. A bit pricey but it's good value for money considering the cheap brands never dry which can ruin your work. They have a great selection of colours. I wish they had more in stock of some colours so the delivery wouldn't be so long

Vibrant colour. Easy to wash off tools (and hands!). Excellent for lino printing. A little goes a long way, so certainly great value for money.

I use it for handprints. It has just the right amount of stickiness and gives a good clear hand print.

Great colour for printing but due to the ink being water based the texture was very thin despite coming out looking thick. When I used it for Lino printing the ink bled into the grooves which made it look messy. It is easy to wash off equipment and Lino. Be careful as it does stain, it was a bit disappointing in quality

Good quality thick ink with great consistency - but It is not a copper colour - it’s GOLD. Really yellow so if you actually want a copper colour don’t buy

Long story short: The paint that amazon has given me was old paint, but it "spoiled"/was bad. My replacement from amazon was just as bad so I contacted the seller, or Speedball themselves. They confirmed both were old and bad quality paint and they sent me a replacement. I still have questions and waiting for a response but I appreciate them for replacing it with a better quality one, thankfully easier to clean up. NOTE: If the paint is really "chunky" and not smooth, get it replaced. BUYER BEWARE: This is not a SOLID white, it has a glimmer to it and any paint I mix it will glitters. Pretty awkward when I have it next to the other colors which have no "shine"/"glimmer" to them.

O produto chegou em perfeitas condições. Há pouco tempo comecei a usar tinta a base de água para imprimir, com a vantagem da limpeza fácil e secagem rápida. Por outro lado, a mesma secagem rápida da tinta não ajuda muito na hora de imprimir e o brilho do material no papel é diferente, ainda que a tinta a base de água também tenha boa aparência. Pela praticidade e por não ter um ateliê equipado para a gravura, fico com esta última.

La tinta permanece demasiado tiempo húmeda después de aplicarse, tal como se indica en el producto, fue un error que debí tener en cuenta.No me ha gustado su consistencia que no es homogénea, como cabría esperarse.

I bought this as a gift gift for my stepson. He really loves to do lithograph prints and this was the perfect product for him to use to give his prints an elegant touch of gold.
