Trish Burr’s Embroidery Transfers: Over 70 iron-on designs

This book has so many beautiful designs to transfer onto any suitable fabric you want. The first part of the book shows you all the completed designs using a wonderful range of threads. There is an instructional page about how to transfer the designs onto your fabric, and then the final part of the book contains all the design transfers (over 70!). The selection of designs is really good and the examples of how effectively colours can be used is inspiring. I’m really impressed by the way the author Trish Burr has put this book together and I’m already looking at her other publications. I would highly recommend this book to any lover of hand embroidery (or machine embroidery for that matter!)

Clear instructions, and beautiful illustrations

It's a shame they didn't mention the ink isn't suitable for silk transference. I have copied a pattern via another means but not yet tried it direct to cotton or linen. The patterns are lovely and I'm pleased I purchased the book.

Good quality book

Bought this on a whim but too complicated for me. Lovely book though if you are into embroidery, so worth five stars. You would need loads of floss to do any of the items.

Super book full of transfers !!

Good quality and easy to understand

The book is great but involves lots of shaded embroidery and does NOT come with directions. The designs are hard to manage on your own especially if you’re a relative novice. I would suggest a dover publication.

I bought this book as a gift for my daughter — she likes embroidery. The book has many lovely embroidery ideas, and my daughter loves it.

とても綺麗で繊細な刺繍が見本として掲載されており、転写用にプリントされた下絵も沢山付いていて親切だと思いましたが、使用している糸の番号など詳細が記載されていないので、グラデーションやカラーの選定が慣れていない場合に若干苦戦するかな〜と思います。 この方の他の本も購入したので、そちらで勉強してから挑戦したいと思います
