For a purchase that involves only three parts - pan, threaded pipe fitting and washer-nut, this should have been easy to assemble. I needed to attach a short length of hose to the pipe fitting to run to the drain outlet. I assumed that the washer and threads belonged outside and that a reducing adapter female to male would fill the gap. There is no one standard piece to do it without gluing. On the other hand, the appropriate placement is to run the threaded pipe into the pan, lock it in place with the washer-nut, and then step down the diameter with a short piece of pipe jammed into the fitting and a reducing adapter to either male or female hose thread, connect to length of hose. It took me two days and 5 different salesmen at Home Depot and Lowes before someone provided me with the solution. Thanks to him. I hope this will save someone a lot of aggravation for making a dumb assumption.

There’s a side drain hole already cut!!! I needed a side drain with a precut hole which is hard to find. It came exactly as described and looked just like the picture. I have a large 5.2 c ft Gl washer and have a few inches to spare on each side. Sure this pan might not be worth $32 but for a precut side drain, it’s worth the cost.

The other reviewer is correct; this pan is not the dimensions listed in the description. The pan is much larger. If you are looking for a smaller washing machine pan, you may need to get it custom. This is the smallest option I could find online, and it was still much to big. I ended up cutting it in half and taping it back together at a smaller width, and it seems to be working out okay.

I was skeptical of getting it because the Samsung washer I have claims to have certain dimensions but there was plenty of space! I haven't had any water problems yet so I wouldn't know if it helps with that or not.

The dimensions are completely wrong. I waited over a week to receive it and had the guys there to move everything up the stairs and it doesnt fit. This is the same dimensions as the $13 one at home depot. it is 30 x 32.5. we had to cut it up and fabricate on the spot. extremely frustrating.
