High Quality! Stainless steel percolator well protects your beverage from aluminum chaffe!
IMPORTANT: Unlike other percolator urn brands or makes, this one has a stainless steel percolator well, which protects your hot beverage or water from being exposed aluminum chaffe from the heating element. For this reason, I highly recommend this percolator urn above all others.I have looked at many other different makes of these from different restaurant suppliers across the US - all claiming to be high quality restaurant quality, and every one of those had exposed wells. I even tested a few for myself. The heating elements in these are aluminum and you can scrub all the chaffe (looks like soot) off, then use it again only to find more of it. Even with the percolator stem in place, your beverage is exposed to that, because the percolator stem does not seal it off. For people who opt to use the urn for beverages that do not need a percolator and therefore do not use it, the exposure is increased. There is no way that can be good for a person's body, so please be aware of this when shopping for a percolator urn.Next, I purchased one of these in 2020 at Sam's Club for about $80, on sale. After almost constant 24/7 use that whole time, the lid warped and eventually the spout broke. So I ordered a new one for $159.95. I was so sad to see the other one go until I discovered replacement parts on Amazon. So I purchased a new spout and a new lid and a new water gage - and now it's back in business as good as new on my coffee bar.So now I have 2 of them, and the new one is in my formal dining room on my buffet. It actually looks nice there.I'm pleased and I know you will be, too, when you purchase yours.

Coffee!
We purchased this for our shop, we have 12-15 people who dr4ink coffee on a daily basis and thought this would be much easier than a normal coffee pot. It works great! The coffee stays hot all day! We do not always needs 20 cups and this allows us to make smaller or larger amounts of coffee! The stainless steel is holding up perfectly! Great value!

Great Coffee Urn. And, Technical help is available right here in the U.S. should you need it.
I have been using this for about 2 1/2 years now. It started to only partially perk. Thanks to having a technical service department actually located here in the US I was able to get help immediately. Turns out it only needed de-scaling. Depending upon the quality of your water will depend upon how often you should descale the urn and stem. I will do it now as a standard maintenance practice. This urn is used at church each Sunday after service and I can only imagine the revolt if coffee is not available!Thank you again to the excellent service department.

Traditional Appearance. Quality Stainless Construction. Average Brew Speed. Fussy Spigot.
I purchased this for my church because of its traditional looks and 60 cup capacity. All components are stainless, except for the glass lid top, which provides a view of the percolating action. The sight tube shows the number of cups remaining. The basket is large and I prefer to use a paper filter to facilitate cleaning and prevent any grounds from being "served". On top of the basket is a perforated stainless disk for distributing the percolated coffee evenly over the basket contents and I suppose it would also prevent overflow spillage from the basket.. The inner wall shows the water level in "cups" (a little over 5 oz.), convenient when filling. The heater is 1000 watts, which means it requires a little more than one minute for each cup, not the fastest by any means; plan appropriately. I appreciate the red brewing and ready-to-serve green lights. The idea of a simple one-handed push to fill a cup seems ideal, but the lever has to be pushed in quite far, not so wonderful for filling foam cups. The bottom line is that the coffee tastes wonderful, not scorched, perhaps because this coffee maker is not all about how many cups can be brewed in the shortest possible time. The finicky spigot notwithstanding, I think this coffee maker rates 5 stars.

Pot works ok for a perk pot but the spout dispenser is annoying
I bought this to replace a Delonhi at church. The Delonghi had a dial that kept the coffee fresher but kitchen help would forget to set it properly so it would not perk. It burned out before our other Hamilton Beach we use for hot water. This simpler design is more user friendly. The stainless is easier to clean and looks better than the aluminum ones. My big complaint is the "one hand" spigot. Most users will use foam or paper cups and the lever is too stiff and can crack or bend the cups. NOT GOOD for hot coffee! you can pull the lever up to lock on but then the cup is in the way to shut it off. GRRR. Somebody PLEASE make a traditional replacement valve! Right now this is probably the best buy in this size except for the spigot.

Dispite there is not an on/off button, I still gave it a five because I love it so much.
I love his urn - very attractive and gets going fast. The only thing I would warn is if you are not familiar with coffee urns (as I was not), make sure you water and coffee are in and ready to go before you plug it in. If you ask me, this is a design flaw as there is no on and off switch. I made the mistake of plugging the unit in while I was gathering up my water and coffee and I burned out the unit. Fortunately, they are manufactured right here in North Carolina and it was less than a two-hour drive so I was able to drop off the unit and they replaced the stem and now it works find. The manufacturer mailed the unit back to be free of charge and did not charge for the repair either. Their customer service was easy to reach and responded very quickly.

Makes great coffee
I bought this after reviewing several large coffee makers, and I am glad I chose this one. It's easy to use and to clean, and it looks good. I had 50 women for a brunch, and made 60 cups of coffee. Most of it was consumed and several commented on how good the coffee was. I used substantial paper coffee cups. That made it easier when filling the cup because of the lever. A flimsy cup would not work as well since you have to apply a little pressure to fill it. I also used it for 20 cups for a family gathering, and the coffee lover in the group raved about it. I recommend this product to anyone who plans serving coffee to more than a few people.

米国内仕様なので電圧120V用ですが100Vでもカップ数が多いときは一寸多めに時間が掛かると思いますが十分使えて重宝しています。

Beautiful if you need to have your coffee urn seen by your guests.
This is very good (so far!) and is a beautiful shape compared to other coffee urns on the market. If you need to place your coffee in front of guests or in a public space, this urn is WAAAAAY better looking than others out there. It has a stainless steel basket which is great because it should be long lasting and it is easy to clean. It has a shiny exterior which makes it look much more expensive than it is. I am a little concerned about the spout and hope it will last. I am concerned it may be a little flimsy (it is plastic). If it doesn't, I shall update this review. If it had a longer cord it would probably be pretty close to perfect but for my purposes it should be okay. Be sure to clean the interior well between uses especially around the spout; for some reason the piece at the opening of the spout discolours easily and almost looks like rust. I will watch this and see what happens. Overall, I am pretty happy with this product so far. Looks great, works great.

Perfect for Needs
Great looking urn. Works very well. On my first test we made 20 cups only and the coffee was ready and piping hot in 25 minutes from a medium temperature tap water. Easy cleanup. Does leave about 1 cup equivalent in bottom when emptied. Good this happens because then any grounds will remain out of cups served. Comments on appearance were good. Questions on where we got it always arise. One note is that the cup measurements inside the urn are incorrect. Use a certified measuring device for the amount of water.
