KRUPS XS1505 Espresso Carafe for Coffee Maker and Espresso Maker Machine XP1500 and XP1020, 4-Cup, Black 2-Pack

I love my Krups espresso maker except for one thing. Because of the metal deck on which the carafe sits and also because of the excellent non-skid bottom of the machine, as I pull the machine out from the wall across the counter-top, sometimes the carafe vibrates off and falls to the floor. This has happened twice and I have replaced the carafe each time for an expense of nearly 20$. I have now paid as much for carafes as I have for the machine itself. But you can be sure that I am VERY careful moving the machine now!

I thought I would have to order a whole new Espresso machine after my teens dropped my carafe, so I was delighted to find a replacement here on Amazon. It works well, I just have to make sure it is positioned properly, as it is not quite the same as my old carafe (which was two years old). Quality is just fine, and it seems very durable so far.

Good replacement for Krups expresso carafe. Krups expresso coffee maker is a good, inexpensive product. The only problem is if you make a lot of expresso, the carafe doesn't hold up for long. Best to get two to keep a replacement on hand.

It was not exactly Carafe, I needed. I bought this, because I could not find, he exact Model, I needed. The one, I needed was slightly different Krups Espresso Combi XP1600 Model.On picure it looked almost identical. But in fact, there is slight difference: it is little lower, and as effect coffee always spills little bit. That is why I gave it only 3 stars.

We have used Krups products for at least 30 years and have never had an issue with any of them - until now. When we ordered a new coffee maker (coffee and espress side-by-side), it came with this carafe - which lasted about 3 weeks before the plastic thru which a screw attaches the metal ring to the handle/carafe top broke, making the carafe useless as it no longer had either a handle or a cover. We ordered this replacement (I must have been dreaming) thinking maybe we had done something wrong to damage the original. We hadn't. The replacement was as bad as the original, meaning that we have now spent an extra $20.00 replacing a bad product with one just as bad. I do not reccommend this product to anyone and hope the folks at Krups have the sense to improve their quality control before the company's good reputation suffers.

We moved into a new house and one of the few things that ended up breaking was our espresso carafe. It appears to be a perfect replacement for the original carafe. It fits like it's supposed to under the spout and overall build quality feels good. The handle isn't loose and has held up for multiple washes.

Lid broke within just a few weeks

I purchased this Espresso Carafe for our Krups XS1505 coffee & espresso maker. My husband drinks regular and I drink decaffeinated. We really like having two carafes so we can both have hot coffee together. I tie a ribbon on mine so I know which one it decaf. We really like the coffee maker and the carafe is just the right size for two cups of Americano style coffee. Americano is equal parts espresso & hot water, cream & sugar optional.
