Lovely Bible. Good size. Not too heavy. Bought as a gift. Great that it arrived early.

The media could not be loaded. Love this bible so much information that I can overlook the thinness of the paper and small lettering. If the pages were thicker then we'll have less information packed in the book. I decided to buy magnifying lens to help me enjoy my reading.

Really lovely bible Silver edged pages. Feels very comfortable in the hand.Really brings the bible alive with the added context really helps to get to the root of what your reading.

Great for my wife to be that doesn't get on with the NSAB . Quality throughout.

Physical book: Lovely cover. Thin pages, but expected as it's a personal size study Bible. Pages were stuck together. Could be separated, but as giving as a gift I wasn't happy with it so am returning.Content: Very conservative theology is written as fact in the commentary. For example, in the introduction to Genesis it states the purpose of the book as "To record God's creation of the world..." This is stating opinion as fact. Many Christians believe that Genesis is poetry and not a literal recording of creation.Also, in Romans 1:26-27 the commentary states "Homosexual activity is strictly forbidden in Scripture because it goes against God's design for marriage...Desire that violate his plan must be controlled...If you have these desires, you can resist acting upon them". I am in the process of re-assessing my views on the Bible and homosexuality, and these opinions are not true or helpful. I wanted to give this Bible as a gift to my daughter, but I will try and find her one with more balanced comments. (NB if you also want to explore different opinions on what the Bible says about homosexuality, try reading "Unclobber by Colby Martin).

Writing too small. Was looking for Bible with larger words

One of the greatest books for Bible study and for great references, well executed, quality paper and covers, and great organised with summaries and points and tips for understanding at once the cultural and historical context of the events and characters. Impressive paper used for such a great book. I recommend recommend recommend.
