I love these bowls, they are the perfect size for pasta and salads of course but I love them for homemade chili and other thick soups. Because they are Corelle they are lightweight and tough (Unlike another reviewer I have never had an issue with Corelle or CorningWare and some of what I use now is what my mom used when I was a kid- though I won't say how old that is). They are hands down our favorite bowls. Not easily seen from the picture, these particular bowls have a sort of wave to the sides that adds a nice touch. Simple, clean and beautiful. I love these so much I am ordering four more. Review: I love the bowl not the price - How dumb I am - after reading the other reviews and looking at the price I thought for sure that wasn't for One corelle ware salad/pasta bowl Nope!! $20.00 for one bowl.
