A month or so ago, I bought "Something Wicked from Japan" and was so impressed with the presentation and photographic layout as well as the paper used for the book, and the concise but informative narrative, that I expanded my search and found this companion (sequel, actually) volume. Just like the predecessor, this book is an absolute pleasure to hold (LOVE the feel of this paper) and to read. I recommend BOTH ... and if more come along, I'm in! Seriously - if you're interested in this art genre, JUMP. You won't regret it - especially a this price. JUMP ;-)

This is a gorgeous book but small .Printmakers should have this book.Specially those who love woodcut or linocut.

Absolutely gorgeous book with a wealth of knowledge. Great companion to the yokai book of the same publisher. Nice bookcover, great quality printing.

This is a great book I already have it’s companion book I have been interested in Japanese prints for many yearsAnd both these volumes carry many prints I have never seen and this one which covers Myths and Legends and ghosts its a bit short on text but I highly recommend both these books.
