This is better than the ham!
I really was pleased with this Ibérico loin. It was fresh and the quality was great. An excellent intro to Ibérico pork products. Sweeter than the ham (jamón) and less nutty (acorn). I also liked the texture better - it’s a bit firmer and less oily. Closer to a pepperoni. Super yummy. I can’t imagine how it tastes freshly cut right off the leg!

Bought one, it was amazing. Decided to splurge and get 2 more because it would be great to have on hand. Rancid, horrible. Don't know if something happened during shipping but neither one was edible. Wasted $40. Never again.

almost like being there
Sure, having tapas in Spain is better than having boxed and shipped tapas at home. ...but having boxed and shipped tapas at home is easier, faster, less expensive, and is a great date night with the wife (spouse), and most especially if the jamon Iberico actually Tastes Good. This stuff does taste Good, is affordable, and always arrives on time or early as well. Until I have the capability of raising acorn-fed pigs in my back yard, from which I can create my own Iberico de bellota, then this Fermin jamon Iberico will continue to be my go to.

Not as good as in the past.
I order this ham every year for New Year's Eve. It was not as good this time as it was last year. It was drier and had a slightly odd taste. Too much juniper, maybe?

Taste great, but packed so tight it's impossible to separate and serve in slices.
