Solved Groud Loop buzzing and hum in my Home Theater set up!
Life saver. I did a fairly expensive upgrade. Added a Panamax 5400, Parasound Halo Integrated am and a Outlaw 5000 amp. Everything plugged into the Panamax, TV, Dacs, CD Player, Blue ray player, roku, modem, router and switch. I ran my Denon amp through the Halo via Home Theater Bypass and I noticed a horribly loud buzzing sound. Also a very faint hum from all in puts in the halo. I determined my source of ground loop noise was from my router which has Ethernet running to the TV, Denon, Roku and Blue Ray player. I ran this unit between the Denon and the Halo and not only did it take away the buzz, also removed all hum from that input. I still get a very faint hum from the other inputs, so I'm going to continue to play around. But this unit, especially for the price is amazing.

Do not deliver original quality of sound
It works for reducing hum and buzz sound but it change sound quality. It will cut bass and high frequency sound. Eventually it sounds like very unnatural. If you like sound quality, it will be very disappointed. Use it if you want to only reduce hum and buzz sound with giving up sound stage and density and quality.

Finally a noise filter that works!!!
Using this in a car audio application. i have an mtx thunder 800.5 amp. Had terrible hum and motor squeel was about to replace all my ground straps on my car and run all new power cables.... just plugged this up, it got rid of all the engine noise and ground loop hum!!! no loss in signal!! Thank you earthquake sound!! AMAZING!!

Too much standby noise and 5x hum through R speaker compared to L
First, on standby (no audio input at all including 0 hum or buzz) this device creates too much of its own noise. I am using for whole house audio and I cannot tolerate a background hum at all times as this device creates. Second, for some reason this device creates significantly more hum through the right compared to the left, this is bizarre and seems like a design flaw. In case your thinking it was my audio source, I switched the L and R inputs and still the right output hummed 5+ times more than the left?

Cleaned nearly all buzzing, very good built quality
This looks and feels very high quality. Being able to use your own RCAs in AND out is a huge bonus if your install is visible. I was having a TON of buzzing through all speakers after installing a Dayton DSP-408. I tried getting better grounds on all my amps and even other things in the car but nothing worked. After installing this in-line with the DSP's INPUT RCAs, nearly all the buzzing vanished. There's still a very high pitched buzz, but this product worked better than I expected. I'd suggest giving this a try.

Had low expectations, but I'll be darned if it didn't take all my hum away!
So I built myself a new PC recently for the first time in nearly 10 years. Sound Cards seem to have gone the way of the buffalo so I was looking for a solution for setting up my KRK Rokit 5 Studio Monitors. I spent more than I wanted to on a Mayflower Electronics DAC/AMP and had some issues with it straight from the box. I sent it back to them, and in the meantime connected them straight to my onboard PC audio. I instantly had terrible hissing and whining coming from my speakers--no matter what cables I used. I've had this issue before, mostly with car audio, and have in fact tried a few ground loop isolators before with little success. I took a chance on this with very little faith it would do anything. Well, wouldn't you know this took all my noise away! I was really surprised at how well this worked. One of the few times I went against my intuition and was proved wrong. A great product!

Did not function as expected
I was optimistic that this device would remove the RF or hum associated with my turntable set up based on all the good reviews. My set up is as follows: Technics TT to Vincent tube pre-amp out to Tube equalizer out to Tube amp and finally out to AV receiver. Once installed, I noticed a loss in audio fidelity including bass. When I disconnected a reverted to my standard set up without the Earthquake, volume was louder, bass returned. The RF noise/hum was present with or without this device and really noticeable at high volume like 50db so it really didn't do anything except lower audio fidelity. Not sure why. I attempted setting up earthquake between TT and phono pre amp and got the worst noise, They I set up between phono pre-amp and equalizer and although audio passed through, fidelity was lost and apparent. Then I set up between tube amp and AV receiver, and same result with a loss in fidelity. Note that I have installed my internet router and internet connections as far away as possible from turntable and amps buy somehow get this weird RF signal. So the saga will continue for me. I will surely appreciate any tips!

Speaker or Sub Hum Buy this now
I have used and tried other type of noise canceling devices in the past and got mixed results at best. This however actually works 100% my pre-amp for my sub was completely hum and crackle free. Case is made of metal and everything on this device is quality. Just buy this you won't be disappointed. Yes this can be used by a single wire set up as well as dual.

Fixed the problem
TLTR: It worked like a charm in my case. Professional here. Had a massive hum problem on a high end system. Since this might help some of you I'll try to quickly describe the system. It was a high end stereo system incorporated into a home theater system. When listening to music the stereo system was using an integrated stereo amp with 2 digital sources and one analog source, no problems there. When the stereo system was switched to watch movies or TV, HT bypass was engaged on the integrated stereo amp and a surround sound receiver would handle all the audio and video processing. Important note, the surround sound receiver was connected to the integrated stereo amp via RCA connectors coming from left and right Pre Out outputs. The problem was I had a massive hum coming from projector's HDMI cable (8K certified optical HDMI cable). Couldn't fix it no matter what. Decided to give this thing a try and all the hum was gone just like that. The system is silent now. Would not hesitate to buy again.
