Awesome mattress at awesome price
I needed to get a mattress for my 2 yr old son to be used to a big boy bed, there were so many mattresses to choose from but I am so glad I went along with this one.My huge concern is that I wasn't able to test the mattress out before purchasing. The mattresses in stores are way over my budget so I decided upon purchasing this one on Amazon. The price was a bargain for $73.99, I wish I didn't have to pay for shipping but after receiving it I was so amazed at the compact small package. It was very easy to setup, just take it out of the box and carefully cut the plastic for it to inflate, it really was like a magic trick! Everybody thought it was an air mattress when I tried to explain, my husband was a huge skeptic as well. After setting it up I laid on it and it really looks and feel like a luxury mattress, I don't feel the spring coils at all.My son loves his new bed and cuddles it, hard to decipher if it will last or not since I just had it for a few days but it looks like it will last a couple years. The bed is firm, but a good firm, you won't sink into the abyss, it has good support for the back.Exactly what we were looking for, I am so happy with this purchase.

SMALLER than standard twin. Decent quality/value. Fine for children
These are DEFINITELY smaller than a standard twin, so please be aware of that.We purchased 3 of these for our young children & they have been using them for about...5 months (Can't remember precisely).I would not buy these for an adult...they are fairly comfortable & decent quality, but I'may not sure they would last as long with the constant weight of an adult. My husband & I have dozed off on them a few times & were okay, but I don't think we would be able to sleep on these for a consecutive/long period of time. They were all kind of dirty (Pieces of dirt & such inside the plastic wrapping/ON the mattresses), but we vacuumed them & use waterproof mattress pads on them. No big deal in the end.I feel that they are fine for the money & don't really have any complaints. Our children are happy with them so far.The only thing I want to stress though is that they Are Much Smaller than a standard twin mattress. Be careful making plans until you receive these. We were pretty disappointed about that when we realized how small these are in their standard twin beds & sheets.

Ok, but too soft.
The mattress is great; however, it is way too soft and it has no edge support. If you kneel on it, you will feel as though you are sinking in quicksand. If it was firmer I would have given it 4-5 stars. This is great as a guess bed (temp), but is not a good idea for a permanent bed if you like firmer mattresses. In addition, I have aches and pains, but I've never ever had back pain or have ever woken up feeling like someone has been standing on my back. My guess is, it's the mattress. I have to get a new one ASAP.Other information: It's cool how it comes in a box rolled up. It is easy to let out too. All you need to do is lay it on your bed, cut the plastic off slowly and it'll inflate automatically. Within hours, it reaches its full fullness and it's not too heavy.UPDATE: I’ve had this mattress for 6 years now and there are springs, dips, and lumps everywhere. I sit on the edge of the bed to use my laptop and the area where I sit is TOTALLY Con-caved like a sliding board in a playground because there are no springs along the edges of the mattress to provide support. I turned it upside down (cannot use both sides) and now, I working on caving in the flipped side. Prior to buying this mattress, the mattress I had before, I had it since my daughter was 16 years old.... she’s turning 37 in Feb. So, you can understand my disappointment, even though I didn’t expect it to last as long as the other, but 6 years?

It's awesome! "
This is my first night after receiving it so I'll write a review first based on the ordering, price, shipment, and unpacking. Well... Based on those factors alone. It gets a 5 star rating! I ordered it on a Thursday afternoon and received it on my doorstep by Monday evening! It came rolled up in a box (see picture). I dragged the box into my bedroom and tore it open. I lifted the rolled up mattress in plastic up onto the bed. I then carefully cut the taping of the plastic and unrolled the mattress in it's still compressed state. I then carefully cut along the edge of the mattress's plastic and really quickly glided the knife up along the side of the plastic and you could immediately hear and see the air being release by the mattress. The last picture is only 1 min after cutting it open! I'm going to give it at least 24 hours (maybe 48-72; haven't decided) before sleeping on it to let it fully expand to its full potential. I already laid on it after 20 mins and "omg... It's awesome!", especially considering the price. I'm still shocked by the price. Another follow up review will come soon after my first night.

It really is a luxury mattress!
I haven't purchased a mattress in quite a few years so I am somewhat out of touch on what type of mattress is best. I did do some research before purchasing and it seems like typically foam mattresses are recommended for people once they have trouble with aches and such. However, this was going to be for my 5 year old daughters new bed and since she's a kid, she is not achy or has trouble sleeping on different types of mattresses. However, I must say I am super impressed with this mattress. It is so much better than I expected! It is very comfortable, soft without being too soft and not too firm. It's really sleeps well (as I've slept in it to test) and really does feel luxurious. I like that it's a spring mattress but does have the foam and polyester layering - I feel like that keeps it from sounding like a spring mattress and from the springs from poking you. I definitely would get myself one for my bed and absolutely recommend. I will post an update after more wear and tear but 2 months in and I am still very happy with this mattress.
