Q: Did I do something wrong with mine as it Didn’t keep my food especially hot and it was only in for about 4 hrs?any tips before I send back?

I had one that didn’t keep the food hot at all (give away is that it gets hot on the outside as te( heat escapes) so sent it back - new one is fine.

I would say yes, it will keep baby food warm but it maybe a little big? It holds over a standard size can of beans/spaghetti hoops. I would opt for same brand but smaller.

If you fill to top with boiling kettle water for min 15 mins and then put food straight in and close lid immediately it should stay warm enough
