The extended shaver works great. It does take practice. Using the wider attachment is a little hard on my skin, once I got used to it. It worked great. I would give it a 4 STAR. I did purchase three other items at the same time. The head shaver, the ear & nose trimmer, and the body groomer. The body groomer works good But it did pull a few hairs. So it too, requires practice. I would give it a 4 STAR. The nose and ear trimmer SUCKS ASS!!! Don’t buy.For that trimmer, don’t waste your energy buying it. It will disappoint. I would not give a 1 STAR. Later on I purchased some Bluetooth Wi-Fi smart tweezers, they work great with my cell phone for my nose and ear hairs, I can’t see.Next the body trimmer it works great while giving a good shave real close to your balls. Most of all it takes practice. So take your time. An electric shaver near my balls is kind of scary. Especially when it pulls a hair or two and it did. I would give the body trimmer a 4 STAR.Now for the complaints, you already know how I feel about the nose trimmer. Next The head shaver I used it once, Then it died and never worked again and that sucks because I liked it. I would give it a 4.5 STAR. But It quit working so a 1 STAR, unless you have a head trimmer that keeps working then it’s a 4.5 STAR.Well, I hope the company MANGROOMER. Takes care of me on their platinum pro edition’s. If not I’ll never change this post. But I was told that if you have a problem, man-groomer wants you to contact them directly. So they can take care of it for you. I don’t know. I will give it a try. I only ask because I am over my return time with Amazon. Like I was only going to use the head shaver twice a year. But after the first time I used it, it died. After allI bought the Platinum Pro Edition by Man-Groomer shaver and trimmers. So I expected it to work as advertised it was the best they had.I will post a new statement if they take care of me as a loyal customer. Thank you. Good luck.

This product performs admirably and, is easy to use. The extension arm facilitates getting all of your back without much difficulty. The battery life allows one to do a thorough job. I hate having back hair, (it's not a pretty look) I also have a bald head and having lots back hair just looks awful.

I thought I was "upgrading" when I bought this over the older regular Mangroomer. That one worked fine but it was several years old and this one looked like the newer, better model. I was way wrong. This thing only worked right about 3 times. I had to have it fully charged each time and usually it would just rip the hairs out. I changed heads and cleaned and oiled it and everything. I definitely don't recommend this version, especially for the amount of money now! I can't stress enough how bad of a job it did.

I don't usually write reviews for products unless they're exceptionally good or extremely bad. As it is the former with this product.I am a VERY hairy guy and I have been buying dozens of hair grooming and hair removal products for the thick black hair on my body. I was primarily looking for a body razor instead of a back razor but I decided to try this out as it also works for the rest of your body. The instructions were clear on a little card that was sent but there was a HUGE instruction manual that came with it. I didn't think it was that difficult to use so I decided to figure out how to use it myself. The blade that came attached on the razor was ok for removing my thick hair at first. After having some trouble getting certain thick hair off, I was able to get it off with a slow back and forth shaving motion. I'm a guy who likes to shave my entire body and make sure no hair stands out. So essentially, I needed a clean shave and the card that came with it said to use the foil head razor to get the shorter hairs out. I was SHOCKED at how easy it was to get the remaining hair off once I shifted to the foil head. I have never used a foil head before so that was part of the excitement as I saw how efficient it was at removing short tiny hairs to make my skin look completely hair-free and smooth. The battery life on the product was even more incredible. I was able to do a near full-body shave with this product right out of the package. I can't even explain to you how long that is as I haven't shaved my body in over 6 months and again, I'm a VERY HAIRY guy. I think this is honestly one of the best products I've ever bought from Amazon. The price is definitely worth the experience that I had using this product. In fact, I think this item is a STEAL for the price it's displayed for. 3 razor blades, a backshaver, incredible battery life, and an extended arm hinge for $50? I have had no regrets since purchasing this item.

my original lasted for many years and i used it weekly. never let me down. this new unit is a bit smoother and the giant head make the cut half the time.

I originally purchased the all black one but recently the clipper head broke on me and there is no way the smooth razor hair cuts hair on your back. After looking at the price of new clipper head for my old one vs buying the new Pro grey one ; I decided the grey one was the best way to go. It came in and looks and works exactly like the original except you get a regular sized head and the longer legth to cover more of the back with every swipe. I like this product but on my second use I really start to look at the cutting heads and the material the clippers are made from. I have to say the Idea is the best because God knows razor blades being drug across my back feels like I am shedding skin. The ability to recharge it and the power this uses is great! But for the price they really need to put a good clipper head on this thing. The teeth and just the whole action of clippers is like the cheapest I have seen and thus make this system not nearly as affective as it could/ should be in its own right. Come on guys or gals ; whoever made the product come to be look at the good clippers with the nicer teeth at least like a Wahl or something that cuts alot better. If you did that I'd give this the best rating possible.
