Review: Fiskars Birds stamps - I'm already making cards using these beautiful stamps, and am very pleased with the product. The sizes of the birds is excellent for the work I am doing at the moment, and I like that they are 'adorned' a bit, not just plain bird shapes. Review: Love birds, love the images but the "poem" bird doesn't work very well - These are over $10 in the local craft store (JoAnne Fabrics) and I'm surely glad I didn't pay that much for them. I LOVE birds and was so excited to make some cards (I donate to Love for the Elderly, more love letters, cards for hospitalized kids, etc) with birds on them, for inspiration. This was the perfect set. Or so it seemed. The thing I didn't like so much is with the biggest bird, with the saying about singing their song, the best saying of all, doesn't come out very clearly when stamped. I'll attach the example. I tried different colors; still. Hard to read. I really wanted it to be just like it is on the image on the set, but it's just not quite clear enough to read, so that's just disappointing. The other stamps work fine and I do like them, but that one was my favorite and it failed to show as the image shows. :( This isn't something that can be "drawn" in or edited afterwards as I do with some stamps that don't completely transfer properly.
