Follow Margaret Brown's furry, lovable bunny on his springtime journey to find a home in this Little Golden Book classic perfect for Easter! Generations of children have followed this adorable bunny in this classic story from the author of Goodnight Moon. A family favorite since 1956, Margaret Wise Brown's simple yet playful tale is brought to life by Garth Williams's exquisite artwork. Review: Perfect Margaret Wise Brown - which is to say the best baby/toddler literature written - From the author of GOODNIGHT, MOON and RUNAWAY BUNNY - need I say more? This gentle, rhythmic read will charm both the child and the reader, and the luscious, never cutesy Garth Williams illustrations perfectly capture the wonder and sweetness of the story. A bunny goes "down the road and down the road", trying to discover where he belongs. Should he live in a log? Under a rock? In a tree with the birds? The language is deceptively simple, but beautifully wrought, as with all of this genius author's work. This book, those I named above, and her LITTLE FUR FAMILY are key components for the library of a very young child, as are the Sendak "Nutshell Library" books and "Pat The Bunny". Great Easter gift, of course, but good all year. Review: And That Was His Home - "Spring, spring, spring," sang the frog, from a pond by fresh green grasses and flowers. "Spring," said the groundhog, his arms raised in celebration. So begins this lovely book, telling how a small brown bunny goes down the road and down the road one day when the butteflies are swaying on stalks and a flora botanica of the brightly colored small flowers are unfolding in the warm sunlight. The bunny meets three baby robins still wearing bits of their blue shells, a somewhat inhospitable ground-hog, and the frog in his bog. In none of their homes can this sweet-faced bunny find his home. UNTIL..... The Little Golden Book is a poem, written like a small song by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Garth Williams with the precision and color of the millefleurs tapestries of the Middle Ages. It is loving, friendly, unfussy, and perfect, a beloved book since 1956---reprinted fresh and sparkling new as children, parents, and grandparents remember it. The book boards are sturdy, heavy cardboard, the pages are strong enough for years of turning by small hands, and the desertcart price is unbelievably low. I have just purchased five copies as Easter-spring greetings for family & friends and yes, one for myself. No reservations or reader alerts. "Home for a Bunny" is a heritage gift at a peeps price.

Great Easter book for little ones
This is a great Easter story for your young children. I got it for my grandbaby who’s 1 and 5 months and she sat and listened to everything word.

Great story!
My 9 year old son is dyslexic and just learning to read well, he read this cute story over and over until he knows every word. The art work is beautiful. The words are perfect for a learning reader.

Precious book!
This was one of my very favorite books as a child. Recently a friend had a baby shower and the organizer asked that, in lieu of cards, please give a favorite childhood book. Such a great idea! Hope the child I bought it for will love it one day as much as I did.

Classic Children's Book
I purchased this book for a friend who is expecting. This was my daughter's favorite story as a toddler, read EVERY NIGHT at bedtime for 2 years. I hope each time I buy a copy of this classic and gift it, that the child receiving it will love it as much as my daughter did. Beautifully illustrated, with the original artwork.

Very Sweet Little Book!!
This is just a very sweet little Golden Book, reminiscent of the Golden Books of yesteryear. Has a lovely story about little rabbits, and like all the Golden Books, children will love to have it read to them, until they can read it for themselves. A delightful book, I highly recommend, as a grandmother myself.

Dessins poetiques, histoire simple
Tres jolis dessins. Histoire un peu simple, donc plutot pour les tout petits, jusqu'a 3 ans. Le lapin cherche une maison et demande aux animaux ou ils habitent, puis il rencontre un petit lapin et va habiter avec lui.
