For Muslims, Ramadan is a time for fasting, prayer, and thinking of others. Rashad tries to be good all month. When it's time for Eid al-Fitr, he feasts and plays! Find out how people celebrate this special time of year. Learn the history behind the days people celebrate in the Holidays and Special Days series. Each book follows a young narrator through the process of preparing for and celebrating a special event. Review: Great book! Recommend for both muslim and non muslim families. - We read this book a lot because my daughter loves it! It is well written, beautifully designed and very informative in an interesting way. Thank you for providing a book for kids on an Islamic holiday. It is something that is needed nowadays. This book is great for both muslim families to get their kids excited about Ramadan and Eid and also for non-muslim families to teach their kids about different religions and what they do. Review: Well representation of Ramadan and Eid - My daughter's teacher wanted to tell kids about our holiday ,as i was looking for a ramadan and eid book i came across this just like others reviews it is a really good book for Muslims and Non Muslims. Fact bubbles at every page is just the way i wanted to explain to my daughter's teacher about moon sighting, Ramadan, Eid ul fitr. Glossary at the ends was a very good addition

Fantastic book! I was looking for something a little ...
Fantastic book! I was looking for something a little less juvenile out there to read with my 3 year old and this is perfect. Educational, with a well written and nice story and teaching points (asides, drawings, etc) and she actually understands its relevancy in our lives. It is contemporary and not hokey or fobby as I find other Islamic books. Gave as gifts to family members with kids. Dear authors, write more books!! Thanks :)

Rashad's Ramadan
Love this book. Simple yet very effective. This is always out on our Ramadan table with a selection of other Islamic kids books. As you read through it describes the changing of the moon and how this takes you through the month of Ramadan. The illustrations are lovely and very relatable. This book is great in explaining what happens in the month of Ramadan and would be good for Muslims and non Muslims. Would definitely recommend.
