Nice strap for the price
Just got this hand strap and not bad for what I paid for. For $10 you can't expect the best part of the cow but at least you get the back end, which is not bad at all.. LOL Over all this is a great strap and works well with the shoulder strap too. I thought I would have to get rid of the shoulder strap or swap it when I need it. No need because they put and extra metal loop at the top so it all looks like 1 piece. The only thing I don't like about this thing is, the instructions. Very few word instructions and maybe 3 pictures to show you how to put it together. Got to tell ya, took me about 1/2 hr to figure it out. I logged back into Amazon to see if there were any info on how to put it together and nothing. But if you look at the pic they have you will figure it out. It was very simple to put together if I started off with the Amazon pic and not the box instructions. I looked around for other straps and they cost a lot lot more. This is for sure a great strap and a great price. Oh, when you screw it in at the bottom of the cam it won't leave you without a hole to put your tripod up. It comes with a metal hole so you won't have to remove the strap to use the tripod. Again, can't say it enough, this is a great strap. Down the road if it breaks in less than a year then I'll rewrite this. Thanks for reading this review..

Good product for the price, does the job.
Received the item on time, thanks to the seller. Tried it on my Nikon D90, had slight trouble adjusting to this grip. Personally, I think it take time to get adjusted to this, and I keep having this feeling that I might still drop the camera - though it is unlikely with this handstrap. It is comfortable on the hand and can be securely adjusted per the individual using it. It surely does the job to provide grip and secure the body of the camera, and for the price, its very well worth it. One other thing I happened to like is the fact that there is a provision to mount the camera onto a tripod, while the hand strap is still attached, it might be a small detail, but well, I like it.

Not using due to design
I have an OP Tech wrist strap on my DSLR and love it. I'll never go back to having it slung around my neck. I wanted something a little less bulky for my smaller Sony Nex 5 so thought this looked like a good choice. I liked how it was streamlined and it adjusted to fit pretty well. But after a couple of times using I took it off. The bottom attachment where it screws into the tripod mount does not stay tight. Every time I put it on or off that screw turns and the whole unit loosens. It is very frustrating and unusable. I waited too long to return it so I'll just be giving it to Goodwill. I would not recommend this.

Straps loosen easily and the whole thing is hard to attach
Arrived on time, but overall it was more of a hassle than just holding the camera. Straps loosen easily and the whole thing is hard to attach. It was a good product, but not convenient for active use.

Few things I have ever owned have pleasingly surprised me this much.
I put this on my Nikon D3300 and it has been a tremendous convenience, particularly when out hiking and when doing a long shoot with lots of people that you need to usher around. I have two hands available at any time. Those that said that there were no instructions for how to attach and adjust it were absolutely right. However, the many photos on Amazon worked as I made my attachments. Once you have it all together, it all makes sense. Adjustment took a few wearings, but it is awesome now that it fits my hand.I know some people are bothered by the fact that the bottom plate blocks the very edge of the battery compartment. However, all it takes is a coin to loosen the screw and the plate twists out of the way. Pop the replacement battery in and retighten the screw. Nothing has to be removed. If I had it on a camera that did not have a 700 shot battery capability, it might be annoying, but the D3300 takes care of that for me.To show how impressed and pleased I am with this strap, I still give it 5 stars, even with the slight inconvenience of the battery door, and the mandatory installation puzzle. I know that no product is the best for everybody, but for my use I am exceedingly pleased.

so it has been useless.
Was working well, until screw fell out, can't find another, so it has been useless.

Outstanding hand strap for my Nikon DSLR!
I bought this hoping to use as an inexpensive strap for an older camera, but it turns out that it is much better than a more expensive strap that I bought and it's now installed on my newer camera. (both cameras are Nikon DSLRs) The picture doesn't do it justice... It screws into the tripod mount and attaches to the right strap mount like other straps, but this one also snaps closed around your wrist. This allows your right hand to be positioned farther to the rear of the camera so that you can use your index finger on the shutter release and top buttons (aperture/exposure compensation and "info") controls and your thumb on the command dial and back buttons and still maintain a firm grip on the camera. It doesn't feel like I'm going to drop the camera even if I don't have my left hand touching it. You can also leave the wrist un-strapped for a quick shot or two.The bottom mount contains a separate tripod mount hole so you don't have to remove the strap to mount the camera on a tripod. It also has an eyelet on the left side so you can attach a neck strap between it and the camera's left eyelet.Best of all... It doesn't block the battery door, so changing batteries remains quick and easy!

For what you pay, this is an awesome accessory, compliments "the crumpler" camera strap nicely
For the money, you can't really beat this. Someone was complaining that this isn't as nice as the Nikon AH4. Well, my Toyota 4Runner isn't as nice as the Mercedes G550 SUV. The difference is that SUV costs approximately 3X of what my 4Runner did and the Nikon hand strap costs approximately 3X as what the Fotodiox costs. My Crumpler is a nice, short, and quality neck strap that hangs off the left side of my camera and the Fotodiox hand strap is on the right. I am working with a Nikon D700 and often have my Nikon 80mm-200mm F2.8 ED Telephoto lens on there (this is a very quality but heavy lens). I am much more comfortable shooting in awkward positions using this hand strap. If you install it correctly, it should keep your hand nice and snug against the camera body. The wrap-around wrist strap is good enough quality where I am confident that it will hold. If you want to spend over $20.00 then go get Nikon's version. I rate what you get for the money, and this is a great value.

Pretty good
Item is pretty decent quality. I like it and use it most of the time, but... my hands aren't particularly large but I find you have to keep it pretty loose in order to keep your right thumb in the proper spot on the back of the camera body while shooting. This means that while you're not shooting and you're just holding it at your side it could slip off and drop the camera to the ground... pretty much need to have the wrist strap snapped in and tight all the time which makes it a little harder to get on and off (and restricts your wrist/thumb movement as well). Not a big deal, but not as convenient as I had hoped.

Can not be without ..
This piece of quipment is among the cheapest, but for sure also one of the bestthings of my photography stuff. 6 Stars if I could. Price is good, quality isgood, and I am satiesfied, fully. I recomend this for sure. Instead of bounsingthe camera on your neckstrap, or worse; curling it up around your hand, alwaysbeing either too long or too short, this system is the right choice. Be awareother systems where the strap is just around the hand, this is fixed both at theback of the thumb, but also between the thumb and index finger. So verycomfortable and secure. Will never be without in the future.

Buena calidad y precio
