actually bought for my husband who is having a total knee replacement. it was easy to assemble, it is comfortable, quiet, easily glides and attractive. very pleased

Love this rocker. It is easy to put together with good instructions. The rocker is very comfortable and the upholstery is so soft. This was a good choice!

This is a nice. It is very well made and sturdy. Small chair. My favorite to sit in. Small apartment. I'm 5'. Beautiful cushions on it. Comfortable. Good for any room.

Let's start with the good....the chair looks really nice and I think it's pretty comfortable. Assembly was *super* easy - I was worried it was going to be a nightmare. It took about ~10 minutes to put together. The glide motion is very smooth and the one I have is very quiet. The bad...the chair is damaged. I'm usually pretty forgiving about damaged furniture, as frustrating as it is, because I it gets shipped all over the place and it's possible that the damage happens in transit. Anyway, if you look in the picture you can see the front of the chair is pretty dinged up (of course, it's the front right? If it were in the back I probably wouldn't care). What's more, I inspected the box, it's not damaged, there isn't a hole in the box that matches up with the damaged wood. This didn't happen in transit. Beyond that, it just feels pretty cheap. The chair is light (generally a bad thing for wooden furniture). The padding is great now, but it doesn't feel like it will hold up. Also annoying - even on day #1 the 'snaps' that hold the padding for the arms on didn't work. It just won't hold. Maybe I'll superglue shut or some up with something similar. I'm frustrated and disappointed with receiving damaged furniture; particularly with baby items. Like most people I'm not going to take 10 minutes taking the chair apart, then 30 minutes trying to get it back in the box, then find packing tape, throw it into my car and send it back to Amazon. Or you can try to contact the company to get a replacement part - sit on hold for an hour or send an email and wait a week for a response. Edit: Update after two years of use the chair has held up very well. I was frustrated with the original damage but have increased my rating since.

It's not a very expensive product but for the price it was a great purchase. The instructions were clear and extremely easy to follow. The ottoman was completely put together. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will be making future purchases.

This is a great addition to soothe our baby. It arrived quickly and it was easy to assemble. It was practically built, I only had to add the back support, the side arms and the cushions. we love this thing. It really helps when it comes to calming our baby and she falls right asleep. The back cushion is pretty good and fluffy. The seat cushion may leave a little to be desired, but for the price, can we really complain? No. It's nothing adding a pillow can't fix, if you need it. We don't need it yet as we find it comfortable at the moment, but I can see the cushion wearing thin in the future. In conclusion, would I recommend this chair? Yes* *UPDATE: So after having this chair for a few weeks, a snap button has now fallen off from the right side arm rest, so it does not snap on to the chair now. This is why I have downgraded it to 3 stars rather than four or five. It also does squeak a little, but nothing a little oil can't fix. I have emailed their customer service but have not received a response back as of yet, but it has only been a few days. I will upgrade their star rating if I get this issue resolved quickly and they send me a replacement right side arm rest piece. I don't see any issues with it and look forward to their reply. I really do like this chair. **UPDATE 8/10/15: After writing to their customer service department regarding the snap button issue, I was pleased to get a response and Stork Craft promptly shipped me a new part for the chair. I'm very pleased with their customer service and thank you Stork Craft for your prompt attention and assistance. You guys are great! As promised, I upgraded this product to 5 stars and it's worth it.

So far so good with this recliner. I will likely want more padding in the bottom cushion, but for the price I am very happy with this purchase. The back is comfortable and soft, and high enough that I can rest my head against it (I am about 5'6"). I love the side pockets especially, and the ottoman is a great height for me. The chair was easy to put together, and at 32 weeks pregnant I was able to do so on my own easily. The ottoman came assembled, which was nice. None of the parts are particularly heavy. The arm cushions were a little tricky to put on, but fit nice and snug once they are attached (they don't slip around at all). The color is slightly darker in person than it appears on the screen, but I'm actually really happy about that. I thought it was much more "white" and it is more of a sandy-tan color. I've heard that the chair starts to squeak after a few months of use, but for the price I think it was worth the risk. **UPDATE** After four months of using this glider, I upgraded my rating to five stars. Especially for the price, this glider is great! With a couple of tweaks, I was able to make this chair work perfectly for myself and my son. I have a wedge pillow from my pregnancy that works perfectly as extra padding on the seat, and a couple of generous rounds on the hinges with spray canola oil (yes, canola oil, not WD40), we have had zero squeaks. I use this chair to feed and soothe my baby every single day, and I love it. And the pockets are fantastic! I keep a burp cloth and fingernail clippers in them at all times. (Handy when I can't get up, and he's distracted by eating enough that I can trim those nails!) I highly recommend this chair, especially if you don't want to spend several hundred dollars on a fancier glider.

The arm rests end in a hard “wood”, you can see it in the photos. When you baby gets bigger (like 8-12m approximately.. ymmv), their head will bang on it when they’re having a fit, or asleep but suddenly stretch. A lot. Trying to search for a cushioned cover for it is so far impossible. Unless you’re handy with a sewing needle or machine, or some up with some other hack, this will be annoying. Otherwise, this is a cozy chair that glides well. May only last you a couple children unfortunately, because it’s not 100% made in America by 100% Americans.

The Glider is damaged and it is very distressing as it was a gift for my severely disabled Daughter. $580 is a lot of money for a Pensioner. This item was obviously unsuitable for sale but unfortunately I was the person it was delivered to. Still waiting to hear back from Amazon as Australia post will not except the item to send on as it is to bulky. Amazon said they would be ringing me back on 23rd and still waiting to hear back. I won't hold my breath. Amazon have also asked me to pay for the return and they will reimburse myself for the return and again not holding my breath. Extremely disappointed and hopefully will be able to purchase through another provider. I did purchase a Glider Chair in May and it is a great chair but it is far superior chair to the chair I have recieved.
